Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just used this on a night run through the Grand Canyon. Started at 10:00 pm and ran all the way to sunrise without draining the battery. I love the adaptive lighting and found it very accurate. I also liked being able to turn off bright LED and just used the red light for close up needs. Was very comfortable to wear for over 7 hours of running.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just used this on a 50 mile Rim to Rim to Rim run and this was amazing. No chaffing, and plenty of storage for my run. I had this thing loaded with gear and it sat flat on my back with no bouncing or sloshing. Love the soft flasks! I found I actually didn't need to remove them from the pockets to drink. I could put my head down, bite the valve, and squeeze the soft flask. This was actually really cool. I had to purchase the actual Salomon bladder. Other brands will not fit well in this pack. I had narrowed my choices down to this vest and the Ultimate Direction SJ vest, and this was better hands down.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just finished a rim to rim to rim run in the Grand Canyon and wore this to keep cool in the heat of the day. I would get it wet at each water stop and it stayed damp for a really long time. The fabric stays cool but it doesn't add a lot of weight. I wore it over the top of my head like a bandana and it draped over my neck to keep me cool and also to keep the sun off my neck. I was really impressed with this and it made a huge difference in how I felt in the canyon.

Have used this for a several trips now and it is great! I currently use it on a 2013 Honda Pilot with Yakima crossbars. This thing holds a ton of gear. I wish it opened just a little bit wider, but you can still cram all your duffles, sleeping bags, camping chairs, and anything else in there. It is pretty heavy, but I am able to put it on and take it off by myself. It gets stored on a shelf in the garage rather than left on the car.

Fit: True to size

Did a 10 mile hike in these last week and the shoes felt great. I really like the grip of the sole in walking over loose gravel. As others have mentioned, the shoes do get warm and I noticed that. I have very flat feet and the shoes fit great. I ordered the same size I wear in running shoes and the fit is just right. I really look forward to wearing these.
