Any idea what size compression sack would be good for this bag?
This is a solid pair of rain pants - especially great for the price! The carry sack is handy, and the pants even do well in the washing machine. True to size, but it never hurts to size up if you're layering.
Got this top with the Sunamee bottoms - what a great purchase! For sure worth the price (though a sale never hurt anyone...). Great for athletic water sports or just looking classy. 34B and the small top is a good fit.
Much to my dismay, this bag was much too big for my winter trips this season (wouldn't fit on the outside of or inside my XS Gregory pack, let alone in the sleeping bag compartment...) Maybe a compression sack would help, but this bag is really just huge. Warmth-wise it's great, but size is really the killer here. I'll definitely be returning it since it unfortunately won't be suiting my backpacking needs. Cold-weather front-coutnry camping would be just fine with this though.
As per usual, Nalgene never fails with its quality products (they make flasks, too, did ya know?), and I couldn't be happier to rep my favorite online gear company. Great size for steri-penning or soaking lentils on the trail. Now if only Backcountry would have the narrowneck option made... I'm a certified pro at spilling water down my entire neck/body/surroundings with these wide mouths...
