everything they say is true. this jacket packs down super well. its lightweight and super warm. it will get wet (not waterproof) but it also drys super quickly. all in all it is just awesome!
COMPARISON:
had the patagonia nano puff before this and it was also all of the above. the marmot seems to control temp better. the nano puff always kept me warm but almost too warm sometimes (primaloft vs. down?). i find myself wearing this one and forgetting that i'm wearing it. i also find that the marmot is more of a fitted cut. the patagonia seemed a bit boxier and this seems slimmer.

i have to be honest and say these were purely a fashion choice for me. i don't wear shorts in the summer and this is a good alternative. they are light weight and stretchy. the material and fit is good. i feel like i could be active in them but mostly i just like the fit and cut. i have a M and L pair. i have a 32 waist so the M defintely fits better but the L are ok and cinch well

i'm a window cleaner that works outside in the summer when temps can stay in the 100's. these pants are great! they offer lightweight coverage for in the sun and zip off legs for when i do interior work or work in the shade. i'm constantly climbing over and under things so they get a real work out. i was a little worried with the 32 inseam size as i usually wear a 34. but i would say they run a little long so it works well.

Fit: Runs large

i got these as a christmas present for my mom. then the winter of 2013/14 hit the east coast and she's been living in them since. she says they keep her feet warm and dry. they run a bit large but that works with thick winter socks. she hasn't had any complaints but she's not working in them (i saw some other constant use complaints). they are basically a snow boot for her.

I use this rack with thule bars. It's super easy to attach and detach. they literally came out of the box and were on my roof in a few minutes. i haven't had any problems with it in the snow or cold. the locks work well (something that i recommend getting). it holds four boards no problem. does what it says and does it well!

love the wide mouth (you can add ice cubes) and regular cap. i'm a window cleaner and in the summer it can get really hot here. this is a big bottle (too big for some) but i'm not hiking with it. leaves no taste like a lot of plastic bottles do. never leaks and its been almost a year. the only problem is that it's not insulated in any way. if you want insulation try something else. otherwise a great bottle.

i bought the apple tortoise brown as a present for my girlfriend. she loves them!! she was hesitant to spend the money sunglasses. she's always bought cheap sunglasses. having bought a pair for myself, i knew they were worth the money. as soon as you wear these, you know where the money is going. the optics are amazing with little or no distortion and they're very stylish. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

i use them with the variant helmet and they really do integrate well. they have a good seal and great optics. mine came with the blue sensor (dark days) and the red sol-x (sunny days). i think they all come with some choice similar to that. i find it easy to swap out lenses and that once in they actually keep out snow (rare in both cases). definitely the best googles i've ever owned.

but watch the sizing. i was going to buy the i/ox (larger version) until i tried them on. they gapped around my nose which would have caused problems. they also make an i/os (small) so go try them on.

i work (and play) outside all day, often in 100 degree weather, and need to stay hydrated. i started using nuun because they are compact and easy to carry. its like carrying 6 gatorades if you have access to water. i think it tastes better than gatorade and doesn't leave that film in my mouth. i've also tried some of the other tablets and found they didn't dissolve as well. nuun is my favorite by far.

there seem to be some flavor problems among others. i personally stick with the citrus flavors. the cola, banana and some others are a bit artificial. do some taste testing.

this was a present for my dad. he swears by this specific tool. he's a mechanic and truck driver that is constantly working on engines. it's the only one i know of that actually has a locking vice grip. if you've used other multi-tools you know they often have problems gripping things. this one locks down and holds tight.
and if were ever to break, leatherman has a great replacement policy.

let me start by saying "support america and yourself". one of last board companies that is still making here. if they are producing abroad for 1/3 of the price and still overcharging you then screw them.

past that, this board is the best i've ever ridden. it's light and responsive. i love the new rocker/camber combo they've been using. it's a mid wide that i can still put my size 12's on and ride hard (no toe drag but also not a heavy beast like the wides used to be). it's got great float and has let me shorten my board length a few cm's from what i used to ride.

ONE LAST POINT-MAGNE TRACTION!! the design is sick and really holds all the time. i used to ride the east coast which is nothing but ice. everyone out there should be riding libtech or gnu. now i'm riding here in utah and there isn't as much ice obviously but it's still good to have.

I was hesitant to spend the money on these sunglasses. i've always bought mid range (not super cheap but not high end either). as soon as you wear these, you know where the money is going. the optics are amazing with little or no distortion. i use them mostly for volleyball and outdoor work. i've had them smashed off my face several times in volleyball games and they've always held up (the other ones didn't). i've had them for over a year now and they still fit perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Let me start by saying I'm not a climber. I'm a window washer that works outside in Utah (very dry) weather almost year round. As you can guess, this wreaks havoc on my hands. My fingers were so bad they were splitting along my finger print. I complained about my inability to find a good moisturizer to a friend (climber) and he recommended this product.

The hand balm is wonderful. It's basically unscented. You have to work it a bit in the container with your fingers to get it warmed up and then rub it in. It instantly helps with those cuticle cracks and splits under the finger nails. (I hear climbers have the same problem areas) I find it to be a little greasy until its absorbed but that usually only takes a few minutes.

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I like Climb On! bar more. But that product is also harder to find so I often end up buying this one.

My father is a mechanic that works outside in cold weather all day. This jacket keeps him warm through Pennsylvania winters. Enough said!!

He's about 6'2" and he wears an XL. The arms fit him perfectly and the body is cut for extra layering. He usually wears a hoodie inside and throws on the jacket for outside work. The body is spacious so he has plenty of room for that extra layer or two when it's really cold. The jacket also takes the oil, gas and dirt he works in all day without problem. The material is very durable for less tearing which is important when you're elbow deep in an engine all day.

Heavily endorsed by DAD!

let's face it, nixon has basically made watches cool again. if you don't want your grandpa's seiko, this is where you go. they put together a great mix of form and function. their designs are cool (this being one of my favorites) and build them to withstand daily life. i wasn't sure about the silicon band but now i've gotten used to it and it's no problem. very stylish watch that always gets noticed!!
