My husband and I were able to install this in around 2 hours without too much difficulty, directly into the garage ceiling studs. The instructions are not really great, you'll have to use some of your own common sense - I think Jim (below) has the right idea for installation. The gear box and removable arm to crank it up make this item worth the purchase, although the rope is chinzy. One little detail not mentioned in the instructions is that the device is meant to lift the box directly off the roof of your car, so the rope is not long enough to hoist a box from the garage floor. Installation was light years easier than slipping a large, bulky rooftop carrier into the two rope loops hanging 5 feet above the floor! We considered buying a longer rope, but are not sure there is physically enough space in the mechanism to wind up more rope. Despite some limitations, we are reasonably happy with our purchase.

I had to work a bit to get the right size, but I love this dress. It has all the comfort of your favorite sweatshirt, without the frumpiness. You can order your normal size and wear it skin-tight (not my style) or order up a size and wear it with a little more drape. Love the purple color. My only complaint is that after a few washings, the neck ties start to roll up a bit. Also, I'm 5'2" and I wouldn't want to wear it shorter - taller folks might want to keep that in mind.

Pictures of this dress look terrific, but on me it just wasn't great. As noted by others, it runs very large, particularly in the shoulders. This struck me as weird, because Horny Toad shirts in the same size fit me perfectly. So don't put too much stock in the Horny Toad size charts - they are wildly inaccurate for both pants and tops. I also felt the fabric was a bit too thin for the dress. However, it might be great on those with larger shoulders and bust, as long as you aren't concerned about showing your underwear lines through the lightweight fabric.

Gosh, these pants are so cute to look at! But, I can't imagine who Kuhl had in mind when they designed them. I'm 5'2" and 110 lbs - on me, these pants are so long I'd have to cut off the bottom of the cargo pocket to hem them up, but the legs are tight around the thigh. The rise is so low and the waistband so large & gappy as to to be positively X-rated. Go figure.

This is a lovely pant in soft and attractive fabric, but a size 6 was *huge* on my 5'2" 108 lb frame. I also felt the waistband was quite large relative to the pant dimensions, even considering it has a fairly low rise. Wish there were some smaller sizes available, with a fit more appropriate to those of us who are not model-skinny.

First, let me say I have a difficult time finding packs that fit because I'm small (5'2", 105 lbs), but this one fits me pretty well. I suspect it would fit someone a bit taller than me even better, but if you're really tall this might not be for you since the torso is not adjustable. I bought this pack to haul my camera equipment and other day gear, weighing somewhere around 15 lbs, through Peru both on and off trails. All in all, it performed nicely and has exactly what I was looking for - a great suspension system with a *real* load-bearing waist belt.

Pros: There are several well designed zippered pockets in the sides and top pouch of the pack, and the zippered lower compartment offers a convenient way to access gear at the bottom of the pack. There is some pack expandability below the pack lid. The mesh back panel provides nice breathing space between your back and the pack, and also makes the pack very comfortable. The shoulder harness, load lifters and compression straps work well. It comes with a built-in rain cover that acts as a bit of padding at the bottom of the pack when not in use.

Cons: On me, the pack has a slight tendency to pull back away from the body at the top (although overall is tight against the body and stable when bending and turning). The waist belt is a bit stiff for my taste, I would prefer a more flexible belt material that distributes pressure more evenly across the hipbones. The zippered pocket on the outside front of the pack is so small as to be almost useless. A small quibble is that he pack "looks" much larger than it actually is - sometimes a factor when the airline folks are deciding who needs to gate check a bag.
