Jackie Paaso's Bio

I'm a professional big mountain skier and outdoor enthusiast. I spend my winters traveling on the Freeride World Tour checking out exciting ski spots in between. When the snow is gone you can find me on my mountain bike!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

It may not be the lightest touring ski on the market but if you want something that performs like your everyday ski on the way down this is the one! It's lighter to help you get up there faster but solid enough that you can feel comfortable skiing anything you might encounter in the backcountry. I really enjoy having these as my touring skis!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

When I first got on a pair of the Cochise I wasn't sure how it was going to be. I had been skiing on Kastle previously and I was using Dal Bellos as well. The Cochise I tried with a pair of R9.3 Tecnicas. Having a mogul skiing background it was my first time on race boots. The first run I made with the Cochise I knew I was on a great ski! By the end of the day I was sold on the Blizzard Cochise. It's a great all mountain ski that can charge!

It had snowed a lot more than expected the first time I tried out this ski. I decided I wanted something a little bigger than the Cochise. First day on these skis I won the FWT14 stop in Chamonix. They were perfect for powder, tracked out powder and stomping big cliffs. After that contest these were pretty much my everyday ski!

I have been using these goggles the last two seasons and I have no complaints. They feel great on my face. I can adjust the space around my nose if needed. Great since I have a small nose. No more snow going through open spaces! You can also easily swap out lenses to adjust for different light too!

Fit: True to size

If you want cargo pockets for extra items, vents to cool off and a great fit so you can ski as hard as you want these are the pants for you! They have a little insulation in the right parts to keep you warn and when hanging out on the lift. I really enjoy these pants!

This was what I rocked all season, no matter the conditions. It's got a great athletic fit with a longer length. Plenty of pockets for anything you may need to carry with you. It keeps you warm in colder temps and has vents for when you need to cool down. Added bonus you look good wearing it too!
