I just received these last week. Originally, I had purchased a set of the Snow Peak Titanium pots thinking they would be great. The minute I unwrapped the Snow Peak pots, I knew I was sending them back. As soon as the new MSR pots arrived-I was excited to use them. The look well built and sturdy. As a person that has some long backpacking treks planned, I feel confident these will suit my needs. I'll be using them next week and I may hit you up with an actual review of how well they work.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these from another site in size 34x34 and I'm currently wearing them. I will definitely be buying a couple more pairs of these. They are the first pair of pants I have had that fit this well. They are snug where they should be snug and loose where they should be loose. They'll be the only pants I wear once I buy more. I would recommend these to anyone wanting an extremely comfortable, versatile pair of jeans for the trail, rocks, or the town!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have two pair of these pants and I love them. I'll order another color that I don't have sometime soon. They are super comfortable and they look and perform better than I could have asked. There is no way I could move to where these would feel uncomfortable. They are extremely flexible. I have actually fell asleep on my couch while wearing them and upon waking, I thought I was wearing my work out pants. Helpful info-these pants are light-they do not offer anything by way of insulation for cold weather hiking. I think they'd be great with a baselayer. Hope this helps. Sizing is right on btw.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just received my pack today. Initial impression-very well made, nice durable material, well thought out design, plenty of space, ample areas for attaching gear. I feel I chose a really good pack...and I'm very critical about everything I buy. I bought this pack in preparation for a possible thru hike of the AT this coming year. I have a good feeling this pack will get the job done. I'm anxious to load it down with gear and hit the trails for a couple days of cold weather camping. I'll definitely post more of a review once I use it. By the way, I added a 3 Liter Osprey water reservoir and I am seriously happy with the outfit!

I just got my pad today and tried it on the living room floor. I can tell a few things about it already. First, I need to invest in an air pump of some sort-there is no way I'm going to make myself lightheaded every night blowing that thing up. Second, I am anxious to sleep on this pad. Third, camping is going to be too comfortable-I'm not sure if I'll feel the same about it.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I received these pants tonight after being anxious to try them on-not impressed. I purchased a pair of Prana Flex climbing pants earlier this week and fell in love with them. I wanted to try out the Mountain Hardware Mesa pants and was expecting the same level of comfort with possibly a different cut. The cut was definitely different, but not in the good way. First, the pocket placement is odd and I can tell without putting anything in it that they will be irritating-the pockets are on the fron of each leg. Second, the cut is somewhat constricting in leg movement-that was just trying them out in my living room. Third, the back pockets are not easily accessible through the hard core velcro.

My thoughts-I'm buying more of the Prana pants in different colors, and I'll use these for easy hikes and casual dress.
