Pretty impressed so far...touring is great for what it is.WAY better than Dukes. Have skied them very hard at Alt and Snowbird on my Wagners and they are solid. Transition loop is helpful and seem to be a really solid interface. Like other users, I feel a little uncertain when stepping out...no typical"CLUNK' getting out like my older Markers. Definitely would rec to others...
Have the Side Stash with Hammerheads...awesome. Do it
I ride 188's with Hammerheads...Fantastic setup. Tour them-buy the K2 skins its worth it. Used them on a heli trip in Utah, Sidecountry Colorado, OOB in Idaho and Wyoming. Have not found a weak spot yet
Thanks Kirk...27.5 in a 2008 T2 with orthotics...same for this years T1?
Thanks for the help ...entering my 4th season as a tele skier. Bought my first fat skis last year(K2 SideStash with Hammerheads). Been skiing in T2's and want a stiffer boot but not really a brick. Feel like I need more power into the big ski. Feedback on T1 vs Voodoo or other suggestions would be much appreciated. Mostly slackcountry skiing, some touring, but have a pair of resort skis too for groomers.
Building my backcountry ski kit a bit deeper this year. I am 6 ft and need some recs on sizing an ice axe. Any reccomendations please would be a big help. Thanks
Love this jacket. I had the non-hooded version, and this one is so much better. Fits easily over a helmet, good freedom of movement. I have worn a Patagonia Nano Puff underneath and still can move. I am 6'0" and 185 lbs and the Lg fits perfectly. Fairly waterproof...great piece to ski, belay or iceclimb in.
