Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Hiked, fished, and bummed around town in this jacked and it is absolutely perfect. Its no rain jacket, but as far as its intended purpose of shedding off light rain, breaking wind and retaining heat on cool days this thing is well worth the money. I've had mine for 2 years and it still looks and feels great. The pockets are very nicely placed, one interior breast. one exterior, and one arm along with the standard two. However, this is NOT a winter jacket. The chin is too low, the fit too snug and the sleeves too narrow for layering to accommodate winter layering.
