I must say that I have fallen in love with Ibex. I bought this shirt a couple of months ago to use as a baselayer under my hockey equipment which is probably the true test for a baselayer. This shirt is excellent at wicking moisture and kept me cool for the 2 to 3 minute high intensity shifts on the ice as well as keeping me warm during cool down on the bench in-between shifts. It is also amazing that I haven't needed to wash the shirt in 3 months since purchasing. IT DOES NOT STINK!!!!!

I have one (in blue) and we just bought this one in Black for my wife. Made in USA, merino wool, super soft even next to skin. We have worn ours biking and then to lunch and we don’t stink and look stylish and hip (date-mates, I guess?). We have a few pieces of Ibex now and keep replacing our synthetic fleece with their product; it's natural, made in US, and is made with great care and styling. Hard to find in the outdoor arena now. On a side note, I normally wouldn’t have bought a hoody for myself but I love this one and the woman's cut is quite complementary to my wife. Get one!!

Wool, yeah right! It feels like your torso has been caressed by tender, silk fingers yet it performs like it's out of this world! Wool in the summer is the best. I'll go out on my lunch break and run in this and by the time I'm done with my cool-down my Ibex Echo is dry. I don’t even need to change shirts to go back to work since Ibex wool never seems to smell (they say it's antimicrobial). Yeah, there's other wool company’s out there, but get the real stuff; GO IBEX!

My husband purchased the Ibex Escape for me (small and in the carrot color) and I wasn’t sure what to make of it. Once I put it on I was totally amazed! It is the softest wool I have ever had on and I can tell (I used to work retail) that the craftsmanship is outstanding, as is all the Ibex I own. I wear this trail running and then to work where I teach and even to dinner with a pair of jeans. Yeah, Ibex can be more costly than man-made stuff but think of it this way: you only need one piece that you can wear to train, work, and out at night! In the long run you save money. Plus, I'd rather pay for natural wool pieces than stinky synthetics. You get what you pay for and I'll be paying for another Escape, this time in blue!

Skied in the rain; it was awesome! Skied in 10 below; it was awesome! Took a digger on my cyclocross bike; it was awesome! I have yet to wash it as the merino interior absorbs my stink. Even stacking wood won't get it dirty. Magic Pingo??? Oh so wondrous. It's not supposed to be waterproof but it is. Yet it's the most breathable piece I own. Super light-weight but oh, so warm. The best part; it looks sooo damn cool! My only complaint? Make more stuff with this special Ibex Pingo fabric, guys!
