It does the job, keeps the sun and rain out while keeping your head cool. Mine came very crumpled, enough that I needed to use an iron to heat it so the flap stays up (imagine folding a paper plane, then straightening the paper again). But you easily can fold it and put it in your side pants pocket and still keep a low profile.

Maybe it was just my hat, but my bucket wasn't as buckety as I would have liked it to be and the flaps didn't extended as far out as I would have liked it to be either. If you really want a sun hat, then find one with a good flap area. I would recommend one to you, but this review is about this hat.

It works fine when I'm wearing a thicker shirt, preferably dark color as the outline of it isn't very obvious. If you're thinking about wearing a thin type of t-shirt, or a light and colorful one then the outlines of it pops out. Also, the rope that goes around your neck gets pretty obvious unless you wear a collared shirt.

This bag has TONS of space. My 17" laptop fits in nicely, anything larger than that will NOT fit. It has extra space for other stuff like books and extra clothing/jeans if you need to put it in there along with your laptop.

Now here's the downside, which is a pretty HUGE one. The Sling; it is the hardest thing to adjust and it's not versatile. It doesn't adjust as far down as you'd like, and to even do that is a huge hassle. The farthest way down you can adjust the sling is probably half way of your upper body (mid rib region) which could get pretty uncomfortable). It's alright to carry by itself, but you're going to use this as a secondary bag (your primary is a backpack) then it's going to be a HUGE hassle, you won't even be able to use it as a sling and need to carry it briefcase style.

I absolutely love them so much I got two of them, they really keep you dry. I wear them for 18 hours a day in wet factory conditions, they will take punishment from chemicals like iodine dips and cleaning detergents. These pants are very thin and very light, I also work in cold conditions so I wear Underarmour thermal pants underneath it without any problems. One of my pants is made in China, while the other was made in Vietnam, they do have some minor differences like one of them has a bigger zippable pocket. I made a mistake by putting one of them in the dryer, which I think somewhat melted the logo paint a little. By all means do hang dry them as they do dry really fast.
