I purchased the Castelli women's Luce jersey (see that item for my review on this site) as well as this Perla jersey. I loved the minimalist styling of the Perla jersey and the very form fit but realized after ordering the white color that...ahem, there were potential headlight issues and that's with just trying it on without any sweating yet. I am exchanging for the black color and that should solve that issue. Would give this jersey a 5 star if it was made of the prosecco fabric since that fabric is lighter and breathes better than softflex but still a solid jersey. I also have to kudos to the customer service. I purchased the jersey on sale and then it went off sale but got absolutely no hassling at all and was able to exchange for the black color- Kudos to the realcyclist customer service team! Thanks!

I purchased this jersey as well as Castelli's Perla Jersey. This Luce jersey is made w the Prosecca Strada fabric which is lighter, breathes better and is more what I call a top of the line material that a racer can use and you can sweat long road miles in. Loved it! The castelli Perla jersey is made of the softflex fabric and it is a heavier, less breathable fabric than the Prosecca fabric although still quite comfortable. I got a size small in both jerseys and the Luce jersey was just slightly more roomy than the Perla which was very form fitting.

Love these socks! Great for 40-70' weather. I wore it today on a ride that started out at 50' and climbed to 80' by the end. They breathe great and I did not feel (or think about) my feet getting overheated by the end at all. These socks fit well too without any bulkiness feel.

Love these socks. They look good and are warm. You know they are good winter socks when it's cold outside and you didn't think about your feet once during the ride. I would say they are good 37'-70' weather socks and since they are merino they breath well.

I'm currently training for the Boston Marathon and so I’m running a lot more hills. I have to say that I did not think these CW-X were anything more than superhero looking tights and only bought my first pair because I got it on sale. However, I love it! I was able to notice a difference in not just much less muscle fatigue but also it does help me keep my form much more than ordinary running tights. Prior to this (like most runners) I was just wearing your standard black running tights and was not aware of the difference in muscle fatigue until I got my CW-X insulator tights. Bottom line, I highly recommend it. FYI, I think this insulator version is best worn when it is about 50'F or less. I think anything more than 60'F and it is probably going to be too warm for you.
