Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's roomy enough for too large people (I'm 6'5"). Nice ceiling vents keep the air flowing, but don't cool the tent down too much on chillier nights (i.e. 30-40s). The tent, minus the poles, packs down nicely with a compression sack. And it doesn't weigh too much.

Spending the cash to get the footprint is a good idea, though when I bought this Backcountry wasn't carrying it, so I had to order from Kelty direct.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A nice and comfortable hiking shoe. The shoe truly is waterproof up to the ankle, which is nice. There was a little break in period on one of the shoes, but it seems to be have passed. I did need to order a size up from what I normally wear, but this allows room for thicker socks if needed, yet I'm still not swimming when wearing a thinner pair.

A nice super comfortable, super light and stretchy pair of shorts.

The sizing is a bit off and potentially inconsistent though. I'm a 34" waist and I ordered two mediums. One pair just barely fit, the other didn't even come close. Exchanged them for two larges, both which fit great using the adjustable side straps.

The welded seems that cuts across the crotch look a little funny too, which makes these really only appropriate for outdoor activities.
