Well once again they come through with a quick intuitive easy design. When compared side by side with my tracker 1 it is replacing I can't believe how much faster and more accurate the search and direction finding is. The new unit cuts out a lot of the stop and pivot under 10 meters to better orient yourself that you get with the original tracker. It is very very quick all the way in. I also like the compactness and new display. My only wish would be the old thumb screw for the battery compartment would have transferred over.

I never had an issue with the previous lock opening but with this newer design we have now lost 2 lowers in two seasons. I have also had cases where the brush or tree limbs have opened the latch causing me to backtrack and pick my lower up off the trail. Grip feels good and I like the traverse rubber on the shaft but the latch is prone to Murphy law when skiing the trees.

They survived my kodiak trip intact with no rust and just needing to be sharpened at home but make sure you put some low to medium strength loctite on the blade screws, i almost lost them in the drink in the middle of my trip. Otherwise i appreciate the made in USA.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: True to size

Thanks Backcountry for easy returns. I Like the weight and fit of the boot, Teva just did a crummy job of design and quality. The insulation ends up in a big ball under you heel when you try to get them on. They also have a very annoying squeak right off the bat coming from inside the insulation. Very difficult to get into not like other slip on style boots I have. I also tore the heel pull off a pair when I first tried them on. Overall not up to Teva's normal quality.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Glue is weak right out of the box compared to bd's nylon skins. Had issues climbing same slopes I have done in the past on my old skins on skinnier skis.....Replaced with the nylon sts and the glue is way better almost too much and they climb almost anything now....

My girlfriend demoed these yesterday in a 162. She is 5'2" skiing on the line celebrity 90 158's and we are looking for a pow ski for her to go with a set of guardians and skins. She said they we amazingly nimble on the groomers with very little additional effort to edge the ski, they turned for her with ease. They cut thru the chop like a dream with no deflection. The powder was even more of a delight than normal with these skis just floating on top like a dream... After only one day i am wondering if we should even demo anymore skis. We are also looking at the k2 missbehaved, and probably most interested in trying the icelantic oracle.

Terrible instructions make sure you set this up ahead of time and have enough STAKES something that should be mentioned. The product is great i have the entire system minus the slap straps which are kind of a joke over priced and not very functional for different conditions. Definitely keeps you dry and protected. This system is a must for tropical camping much more comfortable sleeping in a tent..

Bummed, I ordered this tent and set it up inside. Not sure if the tent was incorrectly cut??? but it wouldn't sit flat on the ground the nose was all tweaked back in on the the tent and the left front corner was about 4 inches off the ground. It took 3 people to pull it out flat. I put the fly on and it got even worse. Didn't feel very stable at all. With 2 people inside you were very cozy not much extra room, wouldn't want to be rained in for a day. Set up a MSR Hubba Hubba tent right next to it and this tent was way more stable and felt almost cavernous compared the mirage.
