Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small

I went with the 46 based on another reviewers mention of extra roominess. I range between a 12-12.5 with a normal width but found my toes just a little too long. The toe box was snug, but since I didn't ride these before returning, I can't say if it was too snug. Had good arch support. I really felt like these things wrapped up my feet like a glove. Hope the 46.5s I just ordered do the trick. I would have liked to go straight to 47s but of course those were sold out in the color I wanted.

Wound up in Tahoe this spring unexpectedly, and since I didn't have my gear, I picked these pants up in the local shop for 50% off. This is the first piece of gear I've ever bought w/o Gortex, and while I was nervous, these pants kept my warm and dry on a wet bluebird day and a few days later in blizzard conditions. All I wore underneath them was an old pair of long johns, and the backs of my thighs got a little cold on the longer lifts, but I'm not complaining. They breathed well and kept me dry. I'm 6'3 with a 34" inseam and a 34" waist and I got the large. Fit me perfectly. As for the other reviwer's problem with getting the legs over the boots, they are a bit tight, but nothing you can't manage. I look at it this way...that extra-close fit helps keep the powder out! These are highly recommended!

I bought this jacket from Joe's Sports and Outdoors because Backcountry didn't have my size. Also, this is an Insulated jacket! Backcountry's description is wrong. It is quite warm and light weight, has a plethora of zippers, and is fully waterproof. I'm 6'3", with long arms and narrow shoulders and the XL fits great. The overall build quality of this jacket feels top notch, but I haven't gotten a chance to try it out on the mountain as I bought it in the Spring sales.
