Great Helmet
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this helmet after my fourth concussion.. when I realized my brain was more valuable than the cost of any helmet out there. I wanted to make sure I had the best protection possible. Also wanted a multi-impact helmet so I don't have to get a new one every time I smack my hard pretty hard. I fit perfectly in a large ProTec B2 Snow, so I initially ordered this helmet in a large. It was too small so I had to go for the XL, which fits perfect. I have a much more egg shaped head than a circular one, which is why my head did not fit in the Large (despite being within the correct measurement range on the POC size chart)

The MIPS shear pin fell out once when the helmet was in my boot bag (i think due to aggressive handling of the bag by a fellow skier) and without the pin in you could really see how the shell moves independently of the lining upon impact. I would say the shell rotates on the liner about 1.5 inches - really cool. The pin was easily replaced with the ones that come in the helmet box.

I have EG2 goggles that I am wearing under the helmet (because the goggle clip is a waste) and they fit great. No goggle gap at all.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs large
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 175 lbs
Size Purchased: XL

I bought this pant in XL and the Muir Pant in XL. This pant seemed like it was almost an XXL compared to the Muir. Way too big and I like my pants pretty baggy. I am 6'1" 175.

Otherwise an awesome pant. I wish it was in stock in Large!

this helmet is amazing. its super comfortable, due to the new liner you can see in one of the pics above. its also got an indent on the bridge of the helmet so goggles fit better with the helmet (i have oakley A frames). ALSOO, the SXP multiple impact liner is great, cuz u dont have to get a new helmet after every concussion u get.

aside from comfort and protection, the speakers on this thing are excellent for a helmet sound system. not much bass, but they get very loud and are very crisp. the mute button and volume control are so convenient and easy to use.

DEF BUY THIS HELMET IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT VALUE ON AN AUDIO HELMEETTT

these r great pads. u can easily customize the padding to your liking. the pads on ur butt and tailbone are dual density,, as in theres a layer of soft comfy pad and a layer of stiffer pad underneath for good protection. thhey fit really well and dont show undeerneath snow pants. i wear them over a first layer midwieght burton pant and they r very comfortable. the added protection is invaluable for a rider/skiier who wants to progress without any setbacks

great headphones to just screw around wit and do stupid shiz. however for me, the sound quality isnt good enough to just be chillin at home and listening to. grab a pair of hesh for better sound. that being said these headphones are extremely durable. i even dropped em in the sink filled wit water and they still work great
