Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I have the Patagonia Down Sweater as well. Although I love the functional aspect of that jacket, the fit is all wrong. This jacket is more of a trim fit, although the label states "Regular Fit". The jacket is really comfortable and the temperature regulation is just right. I've used this jacket in 40-60 degree weather and felt great all day long. If you're looking for a minimalist jacket for numerous activities, give this jacket a try.

Another well made product from Patagonia. These socks work well for hiking, trail running, or casual activities. They keep your feet warm and will not make your feet sweat (at least for me). I used them with my Salomon Speedcross 3 (with Superfeet - blue) and couldn't be happier.

I wanted some simple looking wool socks and these are perfect. I used these for snow/rain conditions. They have the right amount of padding and thickness. Keep in mind, if you wear shoes that don't breath, your feet will sweat. Based on look and feel, these socks should last me 2-5 years depending on use. Hope this helps.

I really wanted to like this jacket. My intent for this jacket was to use it as a mid-layer (as described) for activities like skiing, golf, and casual wear. Unfortunately, I can't really use it for any of the activities listed above. It's tight everywhere, so mobility is not great. It's hard wearing anything but a t-shirt underneath, so additional insulation is hard to do. It looks great but once you start moving around, it will ride up on you. I have an atheletic build and if this was a fashion statement jacket, it's awesome. However, this jacket did not work for me.

I have the black and white version of this jersey. This is a great jersey for cool weather riding (40-60 degrees), as I never get hot or cold. I recommend wearing a light-medium undershirt (see Capo or Castelli). Don't worry about dirt, mud, or crude getting on the jersey (white or black), it comes right off with mild soap on gentle cycle in the washer. I'm going to try the Nanoflex arm warmers to compliment this great equipment.

I live in the Bay Area and love riding in the early morning (less cars). In the Spring, Summer, and Fall, the weather in the morning can range from 40-60 degrees. I was getting tired of wearing so many pieces of gear to prepare for the weather. Then, I found this jersey, read all the reviews and decided to give it a try. I had this jersey for almost 2 months and it has perform magnificently. I'm never hot or cold, just comfortable. The material is thicker but does not weigh you down. The construction is good and the fit is more towards a trim fit. Just trying to figure out why someone did not come out with this long time ago.
