I have had these glasses for approximately a month now, and have put off writing a review until now, because when I first received them, I was in love. I figured that I would wait until the honeymoon was over so I could give an honest opinion about them.

That being said, I purchased these glasses for use while specifically Hiking, Mtn. Biking, Trail Running, and every day use. I have tested the glasses out while doing all of the mentioned activities, and could not be more pleased. I have gone through many sets of sunglasses in my day, and have found the following pros with the Smith Parallel D-Max Sunglasses:

I have a medium size face, and these glasses have perfect coverage and I find no light coming in through the sides.
The nose pads are comfy, and during my tested activities, I have not noticed any slipping or pinching. I also don’t get the annoying red “pad marks” on each side of the nose.

There have not been any “foggy” moments even when I am sweating like mad.
The Evolve frames are very light, and don’t give you a heavy feeling around the ears/nose. The frames are also very durable, and I have put them through abuse so far.

I ordered the black frames, with Gray, Ignitor, and Clear lenses. The Gray lenses are fit for sunny days, and when it turns cloudy, I just swap them out for the Ignitor which prove to be perfect protection for overcast days. I have not used the clear lenses often, but have found that late night bikes rides with the clear lenses provide optimal “Anti-Bug in the Eyes” defense.

All in all, these glasses have surpassed my expectations, and continue to be worth the money I paid for them.
I cannot write a review and not shout out to Backcountry.com and their awesome dedication to customer service and unreal selection and prices. TY
