Familiarity: I've used it several times

I technically don't have a wide foot, so boot fitters always put me in narrow boots and my feet go numb every time, no matter how much they punch them out, add boot heaters, custom liners, etc. This is the perfect boot for an average foot that has numbness issues. It is narrow in the heel and instep area, giving good control, and then they widened the toe box. It skis and controls like all the other Langes I have worn, except I can feel my toes for the first time! Yes, my race shells would turn a smidgen quicker, but since I could not feel my feet, it didn't really make much of a difference. I recommend these for anyone who has numb toes, or anyone that has had a kid and now is experiencing boot issues.

This helmet popped up on Chain Love, and it was such a great price I bought one for my 7 year old son in an xs/s size. It fits him great, and I worry less about his falls. When you live in Utah and your son starts mountain biking classes on single tracks at the age of six, this is an important thing. It's not a matter of if he falls, but how many times, and how hard. He is the only kid in his class that has the back of his head protected, because the rest of them are wearing Bell or Giro road helmets that just cover the top of their heads. It also happens to look pretty cool to have a grown up Fox helmet that looks like his dad's and the Young Riders teenage coaches' helmets.
