Since everything seems to run small when it comes to cycling gear, I assumed socks would as well. Mind you, I wear the lowest profile socks on the planet in my daily life, however, I am open to new ideas with cycling. I wanted to keep to my norms when ordering this sock and I am a true size 12/43.5. . .ordered the Large. . .and they are way TOO big. I mean the heel portion is on my achilles so I am getting a Small. The socks are thin, but I have seen thinner - if you like lowpro, you're happy with these if you get the right size! :)
With the cush strap and the adjustable everything, these bindings rip. But, I have managed to snap the highback while riding icy Vermont, coincidentally the home of Burton where these things are tested. I love to freeride especially through trees and down free-flowing wide Tahoe and Vail-like bowls, but if this is your style too, you may want to try the P1s. These carbons are stiff and will ride as such, so landing small jumps and the like isn't as great as a flex binding.
