Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This vest is perfect for a lot of different things. Its low profile enough to wear under almost any jacket to add some extra warmth. It also works great over a hoodie for those cold autumn nights. You can fold the collar down or wear it up (which covers your neck pretty much up to your mouth) Theres no chest pocket...not sure what they were getting at there. Also, the hidden pocket at the front label is where the black tag is on the left side. The top of the tag is open like a pocket and whatever you put in there slides into the pocket below it. Its light and comfortable and I usually forget I'm wearing it when its under a jacket. This thing is perfect

This board is great for what its made for. Its a park board for jibbing (PBJ). If you're gonna take it easy and have a mellow day on the rails and boxes, then this is the board to head out with. Its definitely not as stiff as a 5/10. Id say closer to a 3.5/10 but it does have a good amount of pop for a board this loose. Its more suited for getting on high boxes and rails rather than hitting some of those park booters. You can air it out a little but anything big is going to be a rough time. Ive never had a board that is this good on rails/boxes, flatland and small kickers/launch pads. It never hangs up and is super forgiving on spins. Its a great board but dont try to air it out or take it on any bomb runs

I almost went with the Tone but something was telling me to get the PLY.
Im really glad I did. I use this board for anything and everything. Ive got two groups of people I ride with. One group of jibbers and one group of bombers. This board is great for the entire mountain. I have no problem spinning on flatland or on boxes. On the opposide end, This board is great for launching kickers and floating out grabs. Its great on hardpack and no slouch in powder. It says its its recommended for park riding and jibbing. Advice to Dogfunk; add every other category to this board. Its the definition of an all mountain freestyle board. 5 stars aren't enough.

Most of the time I forget that Im even wearing these. The fact that I dont even remember falling on my knees pretty much speaks for itself. They are super low profile and when I wear them to work you dont even notice them under my slim fit jeans. They give really good protection. Its not the same as bulky plastic pads but you dont need much more than a little padding when snowboarding. Im totally happy with these pads

mesure around the point of your knee. look at the sizing chart in the earlier posts. If your are right in the middle of sizes, go with the larger size.

if you havent ordered yet, I wear the same size boot. I dont have these bindings but i have union flites so the sizing should be the same. I got them in M/L and put the heel cup to the farthest setting but it feels like it could be centered a little better. This boot size seems to be right in between unions binding size but in your case, I would size up and move the heel cup in if anything

Im 6' and about 160 lbs and a large fits perfectly. This jacket is great for cold to med cold weather. It was about 20 degrees and snowing out today and all I had underneath it was my base layer and a long sleeve tee shirt. Its comfortable and easy to move in and it had plenty more room if I needed to add layers. It kept me dry all day and I never had to adjust a thing. The thing that says the most about this jacket is that I didn't think about it all day because it breathes so well. My other jackets are cold going up then hot by the time I finish a run. There was no adjusting layers or pit zips or anything with this today. The facemask is a nice addition. Its not great for really cold weather but I normally only need something to block the wind. I didnt have a hard time breathing through it and it dries super quick, even in the cold weather. Its got enough pockets for everything. I got the red one which in real life is burgundy, not red. My only complaint is that the "pass pocket" on the left wrist is pretty much just a pocket. Theres no clip or holder for the pass. I clip my pass to my pants when I use this jacket. Otherwise I couldn't be happier with this. Way to go DC

Update: Took this out in blizzard conditions. It was around 9 degrees at base. All I had was a long sleeve tee and a flannel under the jacket and it was all I needed

This helmet has saved me some serious dain bramage in the past. The sizing is accurate and the boa system works great. It works well with my Anon hawkeyes. The best part of this helmet is that you can use it from the coldest blizzard to the warmest spring day. When its warm, you can take the ear pads off and open the vents up. When its cold, you just shut the vents and no more icy gusts getting to your head. I use a little trick to keep the wind from getting through the spot between your helmet and goggles. You can take the liner out and can adjust it forward about a half inch. It sticks out a little but when you put your goggles on, they go on top of the liner covering your forehead.

Its a great helmet that protects your head (trust me). Its light and stays in place. Its very customizable and you can wear all kinds of beanies underneath or just wear it as it comes. The price is a little up there but you wont find anything that this helmet is missing. You wont regret getting this one

Let me be clear, there is no insulation whatsoever in this jacket. There isnt even really a liner. Its just a waterproof shell and a thin (not warm) material to line the inside. It works great for warm days, slushy and all. There isnt much to it. Two outside hand pockets, one inside for an iPod, nowhere to hook your pass (its not a internal pass pocket, its for an iPod). Its great for what its made for; keeping you dry. It will barely keep you warm. It'll stop some wind and its got pit zips which is good cause I only use this on warm days. I love it though and I only gave it 3 stars because its not worth $190. I payed $50 for it from a friend...at that price its 5 stars. It works like a big waterproof hoodie, which explains the name and it keeps you dry. It looks good and it does what it says..but seriously, its just a hoodie

Also, thank you Dogfunk for not editing these reviews like other websites. Cant blame you guys for the price. Great website

works well when you can find it. its a little small but works good when your on it. i got the clear one which was kinda dumb on my part cause i have a solid colored board which covered in snow makes it kinda hard to find while getting off the lift. but the points are sharp and keeps you on your board

So I ordered a 149 which is too small for me but it ended up being really fun. I got a 156.5 DC PLY that fits me alot better as my main board. I use the Tone as a backup board now when my PLY is in the shop. Anyway, this is a really fun board. It holds its own on some bigger jumps (even with it being too small) so im sure if I got a 156 it would be great, but it presses surprisingly well and is super fun on rails and boxes (hasnt hung up on me yet). It doesnt catch very easily and I found its easier than my PLY to land spins with. DC makes amazing bases. I dont get stuck in flat spots even on slower days. This has the same base as my PLY and I havent had to wax after 4 days so far. Id recommend this board to anyone. It can do it all. It rides easy for beginners and its playful but responsive for any kind of advanced rider. I wish I got it in the right size cause it really is a great board.

This board is perfect. Ive noticed this is a really great jumper board despite some other reviews saying its more for jibbing. Its great for that too. The lock and load camber i think is the perfect board profile. You can bomb a run and jump like a camber board, but it cruises and is catch free like a rocker board. The base is amazing. Ive had 4 long days on this board and it still doesnt need waxing. Its also really fast. Like REALLY fast. I dont know if its the base formula or the structurn dimples that do it but rarely do i ever get stuck on those flat connecting trails anymore. I cant say enough good things about this board. I love that DC puts such great work and high end quality into their boards and the best part is that they can keep the prices on the low side. A board like this from burton is gonna go for at least $500 or more. Way to go DC, you guys nailed it

Ive ridden these about 5 times already this season. I had a pair of restricted burton missions that were awesome, but i needed canted footbeds cause my bad knees. These are just as good as the missions. I love all the custom options on these and at first they seemed useless. But once you use them, it all falls into place. Theyre great for everything. Theyre stiff enough to hit booters but flexible enough to jib around all day. I love my burtons but theres almost no stance adjustment options. I guess theyre trying to get you to go est. The rome discs allow you to micro adjust by a couple millimeters. I still think the mission ankle and toe strap are the best on the market but the 390 bosses are a close second. The paint chips a little bit pretty quickly but its nothing that effects the performance.

To sum it up, every bit of new technology on these bindings work perfectly. I think theyre a little expensive but their performance makes it worth it. If you have the money, go with these

3 Pieces are Perfect
5 5

The spikes are pretty sharp so they dig into your boot. It also is 3 separate pieces so you can set them up however you want them. I spread the smaller pieces out about 1 inch from the bigger one so it covers a good portion of the board. I love how you barely notice the clear one at first glance. Works great. Hope they keep making this style

I usually use the other one without the fleece. It takes a really cold day for me to need a warm face mask, but this will do it. It fits perfectly and is really long so it covers your neck. A lot of other facemasks dont stay in place when you move your head, or it's hard to breathe through them. This is snug on your face but not uncomfortable as it's pretty light. You can also flip it and wear it without the fleece. I really cant stress enough how perfect these facemasks are. You dont have to think about it which is the best thing about these Fleece or no fleece, theyre the best. Just get one and find out
