Erik M.'s Bio

Telemark, cross-country, and skate skiing. Was a life long snowboarder, but traded it in for independent suspension. Like to keep it smooth and mellow,"slow and low" and enjoy the outdoors with my loved ones.

I demoed these with O1 bindings and they're nothing to special, for this price range there are a lot of other skis that are more playful. They do have a nice torsional stiffness and would be a decent ski for one quiver. The skis are just dull and really have no spring or pop to get excited about. Wait for them on Steep and Cheap.

These are the same as the old Karhu 10th mountains. A little wide for classic tracks, but they hold there own in snowmobile tracks and breaking trails on fire roads or around the lake. I have NNN BC bindings on mime and I am considering putting on 3 pins to get a little more control skiing downhill with better boots. These are fun for rolling around the hills, and have a good kick and glide.
