Familiarity: I've used it several times

I like hipster style underpants. I wish someone made them in wool. Patagonia's bikini bottoms are a good style, but they don't make wool ones. I tried a pair of these, with high hopes. The fabric and color are great, but the cut seemed suspiciously steep to stay in place. The elastic was so tight, though, that they seemed to stay put initially. Alas, within 2 washes in cold water (no dryer) the elastic wouldn't dig into my upper thigh anymore (which was the only thing holding it in place since the bikini style is cut too sharply to stay put from cut alone) and they started to ride up. Busy nurses can't be adjusting their undies all the time, and nothing makes a long day longer like having your underpants shifting around under your scrubs. If these were cut in more of a hipster style, I would buy like 10 pair and get rid of all my other underpants.

really cute and has plenty of coverage for wearing a serious bra (or a not-so-serious bra) but still open and comfy and flattering on top. hides your tummy without being huge and maternity-ish (though, for a certain number of months, it would probably work for that, too, like most of these empire-waist styles). probably going to attempt to wear this to a wedding with a cardigan and some boots. the blue color is really nice (the website photo is dead on).

i have this in green and red (not sure if backcountry carries those now) and i wash them in every load of laundry. flexible enough to bike in, long enough for work (in fact you can make it significantly longer and shorter by pulling the yoga-pants type waistband up or down) and has that rad tiny pocket, which is so perfect for an atm card, hair tie, and a house key to walk to dog to the store. i will probably get every color they make because i have stopped wearing other clothes on my lower half. this skirt even works over tights (not too much clinging somehow). its pretty tight in the hips and is definitely form fitting but i think its very flattering and its so comfy i dont care. it has a nice shape overall too-not pencil shaped but not a wide A line either. put it this way- i can sit on an exercise ball at my desk, ride a bike, etc, but the skirt wont go flapping over my head in a breeze either. oh yeah and it's pretty much wrinkle-free too.

got it in black-wish there were other dark colors (teal, burgundy, brown, etc) available. i am 5'8" and about 135 lbs...but that varies from 130-140+ and this dress is FINE for that whole range. the top is very flattering and not too small since it stretches (i often have issues with small sizes not having enough cup space)...in fact the cut provides a tiny bit of support. note there is no built in bra, though. its long enough to wear to work with a camisole underneath to limit the cleavage and its also cute and comfortable for biking, traveling, etc. probably wearing it to a wedding also. don't love the weird seam down the front, but its not that noticeable. also wish it werent such an artificial fabric (kind of feels like bathing suit material) but it does make it wrinkle-free and quick-drying (and probably contributes to it being so flattering) so thats awesome for traveling. i put it in a delicates bag and wash on cold and lay it out to dry-doesnt show any wear yet (~10 washes). also, i have a belly, and unlike others who have commented that that's a problem, i don't find it to be so. maybe its because i got the black color or i'm past the early-20s "caring about my belly" phase...
