These poles are wonderful in every way, shape, and form.
The carbon fiber mid section makes them light and strong. The handles on them make you forget that you have them in your hands.
Even the swing weight of them just seems better than any other poles I've used.
I'm a pretty big guy and they hold up my weight without a problem.
And if youre rolling your eyes at the fact that they have no anti-shock system, please don't take that into account, these poles make up for it in performance.
Great little head lamp with a massive life span. Great for bombing around camp or reading at night. Its also lightweight and pretty nice to wear.
However, if you are doing something at night in the woods I'd say going to something with a little more kick. I got pretty freaked out by things I could just not make out when I was in the woods at night.
I'm a pretty big guy (215lb) and these things stand up to everything I've done to them.
They have a great swing weight and grip so you dont even notice youre using them. Also, the carbon fiber middle section makes these things weight next to nothing.
I was able to power up hills like I never have before. One of the best buys I've made in a long time.
I picked these up along with my solo set. I've cooked for five people with this set. They look small but that is due to the fact that they aren't wide like most other pots. They are tall instead. I'm pretty sure that the shape is due to their stove designs. The Snow Peak stoves are quite small and only heat a small area.
The one point that I'm not a fan of, but I knew when I bought them, is that the frying pans don't work at all. Titanium doesn't channel or distribute heat well so if you want burnt eggs with runny whites give it a shot. Use the frying pans as bowl/plates.
This thing has become my sleeping bags new skin. Just zip it on and never worry about water again.
I've used it in the winter and summer in the mountains and on the coast. This thing makes your down sleeping bag rock solid.
One thing I learned is just put it on your bag before you leave and save some room in your pack.
