I researched this company a bit after seeing some of their packs in a shop at Tahoe. Was looking for a smaller pack for hiking/mtn biking and I had a couple of questions before I bought so I emailed them and pretty much heard back immediately from Jeff (company president).
I'm a big believer in quality over quantity, and customer service so I had to give them a try. I normally don't bother reviewing stuff , but there are not a lot of reviews online for MHM gear because they are a newer company. I thought it was worth giving some credit to a company thats trying to make some quality gear and standing behind their product.
I'm using this pack mostly for XC mountain biking in southern NV. Pack is comfortable and while not superlight, it seems bombproof. The materials/components are top notch, no cheapo stuff here which is awesome. Build quality is very good . I prefer a 2L vs 3 L hydration bladder in it but I've used both without problems. Water bottle pockets on the side easily hold a standard Nalgene bottle as well.
Good USABLE pockets (which is usually a problem for me as I hate the pockets, or lack of, on a lot of packs)
This seems like it would be a great day hiking pack too, but I don't dayhike all that much, so I'll leave that to the hikers to decide
Overall, I'm happy with it. In fact I ordered an MHM Flatiron 38, which should hit my front porch tomorrow.
