Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs large

So useful, and so lightweight. I take mine hiking, fishing, and camping, etc. You can use it as a facemask or a hat, and there's a whole list of stuff you can make with it. I highly recommend this item. One thing to be aware of is that this is not thick and super warm. It is thin and versatile.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

These shoes were amazing! The traction I got from hiking to Donut Falls, in Provo Canyon, UT was easy peasy! They treaded through rock and dirt with no issues. They have good drainage for water. Part of our hike was through water and it did well. I didn’t slip much and it gripped the mossy rocks pretty well. I purchased this shoes for trail running and they did well! I can’t wait for my next Spartan Race in these shoes! Put them to the real test! =)

These were ordered for my daughter. These shoes did really well on our hike up to Donut Falls, in Provo Canyon UT. They treaded through dirt, rock and water pretty well. She said they were roomy and comfortable. They did well coming down steep declines and had good grip going up sides of the rocks while hiking. These shoes would definitely be recommended for a first time buyer if you are trying out Solomons for the first time. Over all these shoes did the job!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I need to be equipped with hydration and nutrition, so I knew I needed a good hydration system that allowed me to carry gels, gu’s and extra calories with me on the course. I also needed something that would not affect my running or my performance on obstacles. I have yet to test this in a Spartan Race but have taken it hiking, on some trail runs and road runs. I am happy with the performance so far. It’s light weight, stays tight on my body with two straps across my chest, there is minimal sloshing and there’s a tightening system as you drink and decrease the volume from the 2 liter bladder. There are 2 pockets in the front that allow for additional bottles/flasks, and several pockets for your gels, keys, phone, etc. I like the magnet clip to keep the straw out of your way while you run but is easily accessible for a quick drink and just as fast to clip back on. The water flows very smooth and easy, which I’ve struggled with some other packs before, and trust me, the last thing you need to fight with is using your lung capacity to suck water out of your hydration pack. Overall, I’m happy with this system and all it’s bells and whistles. I will be back to report after I’ve put this bad boy through the ringer in
