I have wide feet and high arches so I decided to go with these boots because of the reviews saying they were wide. I didn't like them at all. They didn't fit my feet well. I have a pretty atypical foot so it's a little hard for me to find shoes/boots. I also did not like the fasttrack system at all. They tend to lace up relatively fast but are a pain to loosen up and get your foot in and out of.

They are a really nice looking boot and I did think the STI Evolution Foam they use is EXTREMELY light and that was very cool so that's a nice plus, but they just were not comfortable for my foot.

I had last year's model and they felt so light and comfortable I had to try the Nitranes again. Last year's model had issues with the webbing and toe strap falling apart and I can say Ride completely solved that for this model. I've put 40 days in on mine so far and there is zero wear and tear on the toes strap or webbing.

The only complaint I can say about these is the plastic chrome plated pieces on the back of the heel cup do wear off their chrome plating pretty fast but it doesn't affect the performance or comfort of the binders in any way, just the looks.

I would totally recommend these bindings to any friends.

Extremely light weight. Flexible, yet very responsive. All metal ratchet parts, made to last. No troubles with any aspect of the bindings. I love them.

It did take me about 50 minutes to set them up them and dial them in to fit perfect with my boots the first time I used them. After that it was all gravy. Highly recommended.

Note: After a couple months of hard riding the toe strap did start to thin out and bend/tear. Fortunately both Ride and Dogfunk have amazing customer service and totally took care of me. Best bindings ever, if they fix that peticular durability issue.

The most important thing is they keep my heels flat in my boot. With these boots my feet are nice and tight to the board giving me full power transfer and control. Other than that they feel great and look great. They are pretty tight on the first day but after the initial break in period they are perfect. Honestly I can't think of any way to make them better...other than being cheaper, worth every penny though.

Bottom Line: I've tried top of the line boots from Burton, Salomon, Sims, and Airwalk. So far these Ride FUL are the best. Period.
