Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 170 lbs
Size Purchased: 12

I recently purchased these shoes and I'm surprised there weren’t reviews posted yet so I figured I’d share my thoughts…
This is my 5th or 6th pair of Salomon’s. For me, Salomon’s Sense line of shoes fit my feet perfectly and feel the way running shoes should. The Sense Pro 2’s definitely are my favorite so far. I purchased these shoes b/c i'm retiring my Salomon Sense Mantra's, after about 600 miles of service. I really loved my Mantra’s b/c of the fit, feel, and impressive durability. I chose to go with the Sense Pro 2 b/c of its similarities to the Mantra. The Sense Pro 2 is similar but has key differences that make it a better shoe in my opinion.
First I want to note that I've put just over 40 miles in these shoes so far. I mostly run rolling single track trails with plenty of roots with some granite and sandstone throughout. These shoes have a great ride with softer feel when compared to the Mantra. The toe box seems almost the same as the Mantra, maybe slightly more snug. My first run, ~7 miles, produced 2 blisters. One on my small toe and one just behind the ball of my foot at the front end of the arch from the endo-fit feature of the shoe. This definitely surprised me b/c I rarely get blisters. Luckily, this has not happened since.
I really like the new tread pattern on the Sense Pro 2. Although I mostly run on trails, occasionally I’ll run on stretches of pavement between trails. The new tread pattern is not noisy at all on the pavement and b/c of the increased size, they will definitely resist wear. Although I didn’t have durability issues with the Mantra’s, the Sense Pro 2 seems like they will be better.
Overall, these shoes feel amazing when trail running while providing a secure fit for technical trails with Salomon’s solid tread pattern to keep you moving down the trail.

I've had these glasses for over a year now and wear them when climbing in the WA Cascades. These glasses block sunlight and light reflection off of snow very effectively. My only complaint is that after several hours the arms of the glasses start to dig into my head just above the ears. So far its only been a minor annoyance.
