...actually I was quite disappointed by the finishing quality of this product. Looked like they had not been through the production finishing stage after molding. arm edges were not straight and and different thicknesses, need some filing to look somewhat decent. Not exactly what I would expect to have to do. I am sure they function okay with their renowned bottle retention but not the finished product that I would expect from this level of product. ...feel like sending them back.
this is the newer, lighter version of the PRS-20 park stand. lighter weight is the only difference. ...makes it a little more portable if you are traveling/moving around with it. Stand function is great, just pop out the front wheel and do your bike adjustments, tune-up etc.. Stand rotates/turns if required, working height is adjustable. Park pretty much thought through every aspect of use ...nicest one that I have had.
these are great tires! they roll great, they have excellent grip and you can get quite a bit out of them. I did rotate front to back after a while to even the wear out as they wore flat in the contact area and then right down to the fabric in the tread area and they were still going strong. I pushed it beyond that for a couple of rides just to see what would happen. The rubber was micro thin and shredded in a couple of areas and they still did not flat. Finally took them off and parked them for a new set! I got approx 4000km-5000km from them ...maybe I can get them retreaded.
these are excellent for early morning and evening rides. ...keep those knees protected and covered. ...with the correct size they will not fall down. Also you wear them under the shorts so the grippers grip, not over top of the shorts as they will not grip the material properly and slide down as you ride)
I like these legwarmers, they are very good quality, water resistant, they stay up and the ankle zips are a plus feature lacking on other similar products. Good down to around 45F then its time to move into a warmer winter product like full thermal bib tights. Have the matching knee warmers and arm warmers too. size L in all of them is right for me/183cm tall long legs
I have used these for a number of years and they are excellent tires for wet roads and cool/cold weather rides. They do give a better grip under these conditions and help make you feel secure and in solid contact with the road. like -em lots! Tip: don't run them in hot dry weather conditions as they will wear quickly as the rubber compound is not designed for that type of use.
You can get a PINA Dogma frame designed specifically for electronic systems like Di2 and Campagnolo EPS. If the frame is not designated and described as such then its very likely not. The electronic versions have all the provisions to run the cables internally plus the mounting bosses for the system brain/battery. You could retro fit a mechanical shift frame with one of the electronic systems but it would just not be as clean looking.
...a great ride!
this is a fun piece from Castelli. A neutral color scheme, goes with pretty well anything else you wear. Looks cool, keeps you warm. I like the versatility of it; twist and turn it and presto its a light hat, a neck gator, a headband.
I have both this long sleeve version and also the short sleeve version. AWESOME items. ... $ but the price is long forgotten when the items perform like both these do.
Today, used the aero rain light longsleeve in layers along with a heavier long sleeve base plus longsleeve jersey; weather 39F very light rain, progressing to steady rain. Not nice conditions but at the end of 2hr30m was comfortable and dry on my torso and arms. (could have gone longer but gloves were soaked/hands frozen) The point is that the aero rain light waterproof jersey did the job exceptionally well. I checked when home and you could see on the inside of the jersey the odd point where water stared to penetrate ie lower back from wheel spray (but mostly dry). The highly stretchy material makes the fit feel like a custom made item. Looks like it surely could become a favorite jersey. Highly recommend.
Yes these have to be my favorite summer socks. Have 5 pair of these and the fit is superb, lightweight + thin, fit into my road shoes perfectly, no uncomfortable folds, bunching or pulling. Super comfort on long hot summer rides 4-5-6 hrs, no problem. (the fit for me on this product is XXL to fit US size12)
these are VERY nice quality socks. The 9cm cuff is just right, the wool is the real deal, these are thin enough not to be bulky under your road shoes, comfort +++
a good improvement over the original look Keo pedals. The alloy plate protects/prevents premature wear in this area. I use the 16Nm spring tension along with the Look red cleats (9 degree movement) No adjustment to tension on these like the regular Keo 2 max but the tension seems correct and feels really secure. The one star loss in rating is for the the carbon spring blade being exposed on the side and susceptible to damage in a crash which I initially saw as a possible design issue and then later actually experienced. Otherwise I have used these for two seasons and like them a lot.
...these are more for off the bike casual wear than ride wear, unless you are just riding down to the corner store. They are a very nice item but for actual road riding late fall you need tighter fitting bib-style long tights with probably some wind block and thermal fabrics.
...rode with this jersey twice so far. An excellent item. Both rides in the temperature zone 7C/45F to 15C/60F, 4 hours, very windy and a little rain and paired with the Castelli nanoflex arm warmers and the Castelli airco short sleeve base performed extremely well. love it and the bad black "stealth" look. ...probably also get the white version later. A very useful and versatile item/the longer arms/longer back are nice touches too. For a snug perfect fit size L works for me / 39in chest and 6ft .
...a very nice item, an especially nice detail is the actual embroidery. The fit is more loose than normal for for Castelli (I have 39 inch chest, 6ft tall and size L in this item is a perfect, comfortable loose fit, usually L in Castelli is tighter) This item is okay for riding in but more geared as a casual item for off the bike wear, therefore the slightly looser fit. ...gotta look good at the grocery store stocking up on ride fuel.
tried these in the red version because it seemed a good idea/improvement (better grip and less wear) over the regular version keos but they squeak annoyingly when there is a little water/moisture present between the cleat and the pedal contact area. Going back to the regular version keo because of this issue and plus they cost more than the regular version keo.
great fit and excellent quality. I use these for winter training down to around 35F/3C
then switch to the equally excellent PI Barrier Lobster gloves for colder training rides!
...yeah the Keo pedal photos are switched, it should get fixed so that so people correctly see what they are purchasing.
