An amazing layering piece. The shirt is a great base layer. It wicks sweat, keeps you warm, and looks great. You can wear this around town. I have had and used it for 5 years now and I still looks great. I will be buying more of the patagonia capeline. I medium fit great at 5'10" and 150. A little tight at 175, not the shirts fault.

This is a great mid weight base layer . Breathes well, keeps you pretty warm. Long zipper vents well. The fit is pretty good, I'm 5'10" 175 and medium fits great, though slightly short for my taste, it doesn't tuck well. Also the fabric's texture means that this gathers static like a champ and gets caught on fleece or cotton I wear over it. I would prefer a smoother textre. Once you get it settled it works great.

I had had this jacket for over a year now and feel comfortable in saying that this jacket is a fail. It is light and quite inexpensive. It packs well and fits well. It. Locks the wind quite well also. Unfortunately it stopped blocking the rain long ago. After my first backpacking trip, it now quickly absorbs water into where the pack was riding. After maybe 10 wears over six monthes, this jacket is less water resistant than my windstopper pieces. Not a durable jacket at all. Paid less, got less. Would not recommend.

I have had this jacket for 1 year now and find hat is is a pretty nice jacket. The windstopper panels in this jacket work great and the strech side panels let the jacket breath. The jacket is pretty light and sheds light rain well enough. The pockets are all placed well and the hood fits well once adjusted. The jacket preforms quite well for what is described.

But... there are a few issues. The fit is off. I normally wear mediums in life and the medium ROM was way too big, the small fits great though( I'm 5'10" and 175). The stretch side panes and arm panels let too much air in. If you are sideways to the wind, it comes right in and chills you quick. I like this jacket but can't quite find its place my wardrobe. I have a lighter windstopper soft shell that breaths better and is more wind proof for running and climbing and a great lightweight hardshell for full rain and wind protection. This jacket is somewhere in between and mainly gets used for kicking around town.

I have had this jacket for three years now and it is still going strong. Keeps me amazingly warm. I find that I can often just wear a tshirt and this jacket and be warm down into the 20's. Lightly water repellent and highly wind resistant. Packs well and handles a wash now and again. Leaks NO feather too which is nice. Fits same as most other mountain hardwear pieces. I am 5'10" and 175 and the medium fits well. I wouldn't mind if this jacket was 1" to 2" longer, but overall a great jacket.
