Angie S.wrote a review of Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Rectangular on June 26, 2011
I've been sleeping on this bag for the past month and I sleep as comfortable as I do on a bed. I don't inflate it all the way so it stays soft, but I can sleep on any substrate and still sleep comfortably. You can see my coworker's sleeping pad next to mine in the picture, we were camping on this really hard cracked substrate in WY that night, but I think you can easily guess who is getting the best sleep ;)
The pros: SUPER comfortable, packs small and light...and quickly, insulated.
The cons: I timed it once, it took 5 minutes to inflate. This is ok if you're car camping like I am (I just toss it in the back of the truck still inflated) or for a couple of days in the backcountry, but I can imagine getting really tired of doing this nightly on a longer backpacking trip...but then again, the sleep quality might just be worth it...
