This was a tough call. Clothes are my vice and I have lots; particularly pants. I have several pair of mountain Khaki mountain pants and I use them strictly when I am getting my hands dirty and I couldn't be happier. It took me awhile to buy a pair of these and I am going to remain neutral and offer some of my opinions. Here goes:
Pros:
- MK quality
- super soft
- awesome pockets i've grown to luv about MK
Cons:
- crotch is low. WEIRD MAN. This was actually the deal breaker for me and let me tell you why. My body type is proportionately larger in the legs and shorter in the torso. My inseam is ideally 31-31.5. MK in a 30 short USUALLY fits the bill. Similar case this time, although this time around there is what seems like an extra couple of inches in crotch length; makes you look dumpy.
Neutral Opinion:
I honestly can't hate on MK. My profession is on the business side of casual (button up and nice jeans or khakis). These are SUPER COMFORTABLE, although you have to rock these with Keens or something. They look out of place with some dressier casual shoes like my Salomon spirits. Just doesn't work for me.

Pros:
> feels like silk
> quality construction
Cons:
> technically none
Neutral Opinion:
> sleeves on the longer side; not my speed so much. I have an athletic build. Not roid physique, just slim waist; wide shoulder; and normal arms, so the sleeves flared out a lot. just not feelin it.

NICE QUALITY. I can't hate on this piece. The perils of online shopping; can't resist the deals, but you have to go through the BS of trial and error. at least Backcountry makes the return shipping cost a bit less painless..

Let me start by saying it is definitely the quality you would expect from Kavu, for example: metal buttons are awesome; style is sweet, although the picture makes the piece seem much more refined then in person. I went with the charcoal and it looks like something out of a Woolrich catalog, in terms of the material; like a big sweater. Feels true to size in the chest. The wrist opening is definitely large, so its either large or snug. I'm going for the size small, in navy, to try and see if it's a bit more refined, so i can rock it at work, and still maintain some semblance of professionalism and sanity at the same time. Definitely a sweet piece though
