Three and a half months wait...

Totally worth it!!!

This bike flat out kicks a$$!

I came off of an Ibis Mojo HD that I converted to 27.5 two years ago. I loved that bike and this bike smokes the HD in every aspect! Climbing I am getting PR's on every ride. Descending I am getting PR's on every ride. I recently beat my best time by 19 seconds on a six minute section that I could not shave another second off of with my HD...it's just that good! And it does not feel like you are pushing it.

I went from a 32 tooth chain ring 1x11 to a 34 and it actually feels easier to climb on...you wont believe me but it's true.

I think I have said enough...you can tell I think Ibis hit the mark on this one!!!

Great new shoe to the FiveTen lineup!

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

First off I will start with this shoe IS NOT the same colorway that you see in the pictures. It is exactly like the ones you see on the FiveTen website, but not the same as you see here on Backcountry (not sure where they got the pictures). You can see mine below...

Now on to the good stuff! These shoes are lighter and stiffer than the previous freeriders. The toe box is very roomy and my size 10 fit perfectly to size. I have a fairly wide foot and I am very happy with the fit.

The shoes stick like glue to my Spank Oozy pedals, which is expected, and I do like the new flat/worn section as it makes repositioning your foot easier.

I have not had a chance to hike in any slick dirt, so the jury is still out there won't be a ton of traction...although there is a pattern toward the toe so that may help from slipping too much.

Overall these are great!
