Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: True to size

I really liked them, but I couldn't keep them. They're very nice. Length was spot-on with Scarpa's size chart. The toe box is nice-n-roomy, too, for an Italian-made boot, which is surprising. But, they have a little too much volume for me, and I definitely agree with the other reviewer who said the heel pocket is a little sloppy. I have low- to mid-volume feet, with a more narrow heel and boxy fore foot. Lowas tend to fit me the best. I wish these Scarpa boots did, also. Anyway, I'm sure there are others out there that'll fit them just fine. I'd shy away from them though, unless you have fatter/thicker, more high volume feet.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm loving mine so far! Everybody knows that Thomson gear is top of the line, and super high quality, so there's really no need to comment on that any further. I got mine on Backcountry, on sale for a really great price, too. The ease of installation and set-up went perfectly. The use so far has been flawless. I have no complaints whatsoever...
