carlos romanowrote a review of Arc'teryx Rush Jacket - Men's on December 8, 2013
Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs large
I bought this shell to replace my Norrona Narvik this year. There are a few features I wish arcteryx would have incorporated into this shell that i felt were missing.
Firstly, there are no wrist gaiters to pair with the powder skirt, which i thought was sorta weird.
Second, some spots could use a little bit of microfleece lining, not alot, but just enough to soften up some spots near the face.
Also, as other reviews have stated, it does run a bit short on the body, i catch a lot of drafts coming in if i'm not wearing a tucked in bottom layer.
The velcro on the sleeves of this jacket is top notch and doesn't budge or pack full of snow like a lot of jackets i've owned, and the hood is just the right size to fit over a helmet.
Overall, this is an awesome shell for inbound days. I wouldn't take it out touring due to the lack of pockets, but i look forward to a lot of fun in this shell!
