I bought this for my boyfriend because it was on sale for a ridiculously cheap price (I think $274, regular $449) which is a serious bargain for good gore-tex. He's a bigger guy, around 6'1" and 250lbs. His biggest issue is that he's got 'linebacker shoulders', which often makes finding shirts and jackets TOUGH. Luckily, this jacket fit really nicely on him in an XL. Plenty of pit-zips, extra pockets, etc., and a flattering cut. The only thing is, the picture shows some green on the jacket, but the one we received is all black. Not a big deal for us, but if you're buying it based on that feature, be careful. Overall, a good jacket for a great price!

I ordered these shorts because the 'Black 9' print was on sale. Hurley's size chart is a bit difficult to understand, or maybe it's because I have a weird hip-to-waist ratio. Either way, I ordered the S because that's what category I fell into according to the size chart. I'm 5'3-5'4 and 111lbs. My waist measures about 26.5", and my hips measure about 31.5.". These shorts are VERY loose. My hips hold them up, but I wouldn't count on them to stay on while I was swimming. I chose not to return them because they're fine for lounging around, and I hadn't planned to use them in the water. The waistband is nice and thick and comfy. The only weird thing, which my boyfriend pointed out, was that the colour-blocking on my particular pair of shorts included a pink stripe right up the buttcrack. It doesn't bother me, but some may not be a fan of this look. I'd go with a different print if this is a concern for you. Overall, good value for the money, but definitely be careful with the sizing if you're looking for a fitted short!

I saw this on the TNF website, $170 retail. I wanted a new fleece with a napoleon pocket on the chest, and this was the only style that had one by this brand. My budget was $100, so I searched the style and found it here for under $100, because only a few colours were available.

The kokomo green is really bright and fun, which I liked because 90% of my gear is black. The fleece isn't exactly as pictured - the zipper ties are actually orange, not grey, which reminds me of Michaelangelo from the Ninja Turtles, but I'm okay with that.

Overall, the quality is good. The fleece is super-fuzzy, not like the normal polar-tec fleece that I've had in the past. Feels nice to touch, and nice against the skin! The fit is quite fitted. I have an XS zipper jacket by TNF that is slightly looser, and my XS down vest by TNF is actually quite loose - even when wearing 2 layers under it. This XS is an actual XS, so if you want to wear more than a thin thermal layer or a t-shirt beneath this, I'd size up. I am 5'3-5'4, and 111lbs, and this fit me perfectly.

Mountain Hardware has some comparable jackets as well - while this is a very nice fleece, I don't know why TNF would think it's worth $170. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product in light of paying only about half the retail cost on this site. Shipping was quick and reliable, as usual.
