Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

Every once in awhile you come across a garment that becomes your new favorite, go-to piece. That describes this jacket or swacket (sweater/jacket). The fit and functionality are perfect.

I ordered the orchid color in a medium. I am 5"8' and approximately 137 lbs. The color is just a tad bit brighter than the picture shows and really pretty. The sleeves have ample length, hitting about an inch or two below the wrist. It has a slim, sophisticated silhouette, however, it allows for freedom of movement to do anything from shoveling to splitting wood. The length of the jacket hits mid-thigh and is really, really warm. I can't say enough good things about it, I'm quite impressed.

Washed and dried these pants according to instructions and they shrunk at least a size. They were also shorter in length than three other pairs of Mountain Khakis. Generally, great pants but every one runs differently in sizing.

Just ordered this sweater and I love it! So far, I don't find the wool to be itchy, but I am accustomed to wearing wool. I'm 58" and 139 pounds and the medium fits perfectly. I love the dip in the back, too, covers your lower backside while shoveling snow, skate skiing, or any other activity you throw at it. Super burly, warm sweater. Might get another in a different color!

I purchased these boots last year for field work throughout the mountains and wind swept open spaces. They are about a half a size too large. I have a mild symptoms of Raynaud's phenomenon and they are one of the few boots that keep my feet warm while standing still for 20 minutes. When hiking they keep my feet quite warm. The coldest day I've used them was -14 Fahrenheit. Yesterday I was in temps on average of 18 degrees Fahrenheit with winds gusting to 32 mph. Keep in mind I have Raynaud's and it's not easy to keep my fingers and toes warm. Short of getting electric boot warmers, these are awesome.
