works well, with stand pointed 90deg straight up the wheel wobbles in the wind so it must be folded down with the tire resting on the car. Dirty tire may scratching paint.
i just got mine today, they are awesome to say the least. I know what grad compression at least in theory but I'm no expert. that being said the supposed graduated compression seems minimal if any at all.
Im on my 2nd set and i Love these things. The only downside is that they can be a little hot. That being said, I did wear then in 124F (wet bulb) this summer and it wasn't too bad. shoes are true to size, no weeknesses in manufacturing. Solomons have a smaller virtical tow area at least in my openion. I find i have more control than with other brands. please note that this is just an openion and many people prefer the more space.
anyone know how much there weigh?
this is my first set of quick draws and i love them. the rubber in the rope beaner makes life easy. my only complaint is that they are wire so the snap as the gate closes isn't quite as loud as the solid gates. on the bright side, wire is less weight.
it felt like it was pretty sturdy but the diafram inside that auto selects which size stem you are using blew on the first use. i may have just been unlucky with the one i got sent, other people seem to like theirs...
anyway, i ditched mine and bought a regular one without a pump/reg.
i love these things! ive been using them for casual wear and quite a bit for rock climbing.
for climbing they have worked great! they have a slight vertical stretch in the fabric that keeps them from getting stuck when my knee is up high. highly recommended for rock climbing
great cage, the lights one that back country sells (i think) my only compliant is a weird harmonic with the bottle in the cage during a slow speed. could be a combination with my frame CAAD9. its a shaking that is noticeable but not nearly strong enough to do any damage even over time (nothing im worried about). any more then a slow parking lot speed and the shaking subsides.
besides being very light weight, one of the best things about this harness is how fast it goes on. If trying to go fast, you could prob have it on and adjusted in under 10 sec. there is one buckle around the waste that doesn't require double backing. everything else is elastic.
