Iv'e only used them a few times so far but they are very good pads for the money. Great protection and fit, comfortable, a little warm but so what I'm sweating anyways, a little bulky wish they were a bit slimmer but all in all great pads at a great price. Recommended!!
I think the theta ar would be a great choice, the cut is long, hip length I believe, and would give you great range of motion. What activities will you using this setup for?
The reason I ask is because I found a large for $104. Thought it might be worth it for the money
Can I get away with a large atom lt jacket to layer under an theta ar jacket? I usually wear a medium.
What about the brim? I bought the escapa hat and returned it because the brim was flimsy or non moldable. I prefer a brim like the accelero which when you shape it it stays, like traditional caps. I found the escapa cap to be not like traditional and didn't want to run into the same problem with the muon cap.
Is the muon hat more like the escapa ht or accelero hat?
After seeing the hat online I was going to buy two but after I bought it and physically saw it I was very dissatisfied. The material is nice but the brim is straight and not moldable, and the fit was terrible. Fortunately I got an accelero hat, which is great and returned the escapa.
The accelero hat is my favorite hat, its light, breathable and packable. Great for running, hiking, or just as a casual hat. Think I'm going to get another in red. I would highly recommend this hat.
If I were you and the cost is not much of a concern I would layer the LT hoody with a theta AR jacket. The LT hoody is form fitting with a lot of flexability and a great mid-layer and the theta AR is a gore-tex pro shell that will be your storm shelter. You'll be warm and bone dry with that set up.
