East Coast Training Grounds.
Come on, for the price these are the go to. Super wind proof, great deep pockets, and sweet vents. You can really float around in them, not restricting at all. The worst is having those pow days and wet pants, but not with this pant.
This jacket is truly a warm fleece. Super soft and breathable
Nice little set up for my boy. The inside bibs have a quick release velcro at the top to get him out for those unexpected diaper changes. A+
Most definitely. They must be out of stock for now, but maybe you could shop around or set up a chat with a backcountry rep. online to see if they can find out whats up.
Hey Linda, I'm gonna guess maybe a med.or lrg. It looks like a medium will be about 4 and a 1/2 inches long. Measuring from top of mid finger to wrist. No lrg as of now on the site, but may restock soon
Depends when he is racing, night or day? And if during the day are most of the days going to be a bluebird day. Most likely he is racing at night after school like most Nastar race leagues unless it is for school. But I would not spend the loot on these frames. Plus he almost always has to have a helmet on and these don't have a rubber grip inside the strap to help hold to the helmet. Check Anon and Oaks' goggles, little cheaper and better reflection lenses.
Pretty sure 1 1/2 inch.
Yeah no prob with the a-frames, might get a cold spot where your strap goes over your helmet though, but a skull cap could always fix that.
These shoes absolutely rock!! It is true they do take a little time to break in- don't return them cuz you think they don't fit right, cruise around in them for a couple days and you'll agree. Spend your loot on these puppies. Had to replace my old Asolo 520 Gtx's with these. Never buying any kind of hiking boot but Asolo's again. My whole sole came off from my 520's(due to dry rot and 5 years of hiking, not equipment failure)- and continued to hike down hill in sloppy water logged trail for about 1/2 mile and unbelievably my feet were totally dry. Asolo 1, Trail 0
the gas struts have a bump stop on them to keep from over extending, and it swings out pretty far too.
No pit zips sorry
Hey skybabe, the large seems to be an equal to a lrg mens shirt or jacket. From what the Head site can tell us. All I can say is that when I see one of these gnarly back protectors' You better be gettin heli dropped or something along those lines. The only time I think I have ever seen anyone where one of these is when I was track riding my 1125R Buell at Pocono Raceway. I think you should have more confidence in kickin' it down hill, and not so much worrying about what might happen. But you can never be to careful. Wax side always down except for inverts!!!
Rock the 13's They will fit you no prob..
I am pretty sure most hiking boots will have a tendency to pick up small rocks on any trail. But they might fall out just as quick as they get picked up. You might also be able to feel through the sole of the shoe where you got a rock stuck. But I would say if your using them as an everyday shoe, no problem- But if your going to do a high peak or a 14 mile day trip- take them off before you cross into the hardwood area.
Looking like 23 lbs.
Ocean, not so much- you might get tossed around a bit, plus your going to need a skirt. This bad boy is a 10 footer. It will be great for the lake and streams. Has a nice keep dry storage area behind your seat, plus all the bungee's you need- some other yaks' you have to pay for those little things. So for your trips- an awesome choice until you want to go faster. But maybe you will get used to this one, and not need the speed. All around good choice!! And it's on-sale
Well Dan, Any wind is tough in a tent, but as long as you stake this puppy it ain't movin' looks like over 10 stakes? With all your bags inside that is good weight. Cold- tent's are just to keep you dry-not so much the cold. Your bag is what is you need. Bag rated for cold temps- your good to go. From the reviews this thing is like a bus.
Buy the lrg. You will thank yourself later. The med my bro has and they are tiny, just fits his boot. Rock the lrg. crank down.
This watch has got it, 3 different set-ups for your training, you might have to sit down to read the configuration though. And its out of stock forever
