I have a fairly high instep and to make things worse, I need a lift in my right boot. Without that I would ski in circles all day.

I have an average width (C+) and wear a size 12/13 shoe. The 28.5 was a perfect fit. I tried the Nordica Firearrow and there were a few pressure points that I did not get with the Lange. This is a stiff boot but do not be scared of it, I was very surprised how comfortable it was. Your boot should feel like a very firm handshake, no pressure, but very solid and snug.

I am 6'6" 210 lbs and ski a shogun (191) so this boot will do great. My previous Soloman RS90 were too sloppy for my size and the size of the skis.

Just got my Splice goggles.
My 1st pair is a ZEAL SPX goggle which I love! They are fantastic in every way but a bit too dark for those special snowy or flat light days. I picked up a pair of Splice with the HI Yellow lens for those dark/flat days. Just surprised they seem narrow and cut off my breathing. Is this just a new-out-of-the-box issue? I think I remember my Zeals doing that at first but not now. Have not had new goggles in 2 years so I do not remember if these need a break in period. No, my face is not huge, just a normal dudes face and nose.

Slight newbie, but serious about playtime.

I am 6'6" and 225 with my winter garb. Is the 191 a no-brainer? My other skis are 184 K2 Recons and I think the Shogun is the perfect compliment for my CO powder days. I am an intermediate at best skier but new to CO and will ski 20-30 days this year at Vail, BC and Breck. I will be comfortable enough to regularly handle blacks and bowl this year I imagine. Just do not want to wimp out on what I should be able to handle with my man size.

Binding suggestions?

Thanks all, keep up the great work here.

I meant to buy my wife the Swany womens's mitten similar to these spyder mittens. I clicked on the wrong picture and completed my order. Didn't even notice until she opened her gift. Lucked out though, as expected by Spyder equipment, they were a step up from what we expected, similar price, great quality, good fit, great look and all the detail you expect from a great brand. They have finger seperators inside, very nice!
