Familiarity: I've used it several times
First let me give you some stats so you've got a basis of comparison. I'm 34 years old, 170 pounds and an expert skier with over 15 years of ski racing and 32+ years of skiing. I just spent 3 days on this ski in Park City on a size 172. The first day was a bit of soft snow over hard pack. It ripped down the groomed runs, and held an edge like a race ski with much less chatter than I expected given the rockered tip. Day two was more groomed and bumps. Worked great in both. On day three, we had some powder. It tore it up in Jupiter Bowl and rode nearly as well as my Gotamas in deeper snow. It is quick and nimble, and handled chopped up crud perfectly. I loved this ski and think I will be getting a pair soon to replace my Volkl Kendos as my all around day to day ski. Unless it's more than a foot of fresh powder, in which case I would use either my Gotama's or my Kuro's, this is the ski for me.
