Don't be deterred by the fact that these socks will take you an additional six seconds to put on verses a traditional sock design. Injinji makes a great sock. Padding is obviously very minimal, so these are great for warm weather and for running quickly.

You can find cheaper socks, but these Thorlos are well worth a few extra Washington's. Been on a few trail runs and road runs so far and I'm a huge fan because of the strategically placed cushioning and the comfy fit. Five stars.

These were my first foray into the 'slim fit skinny jeans' category. I was nervous at first, but am happy I made the leap with the Levi's 511. Not too skinny mind you, but enough to feel like you're one of the cool kids. Definitely love the slight elasticity of the pants. I'm a 33" waist and the 34" fit just right.

I don't know how to pronounce Doheny, but I do know that I love this shirt so much that I bought another one for the bro-in-law and he digs it as well. Fabric is super soft and doesn't seem to require an iron every time I want to wear it.

I'm 6'0", 170lbs and the medium fits me very well. Highly recommend this Marmot flannel.

Hestra does pretty much one thing and that's gloves. I just got my first pair about a month ago and am pleased as punch. So far I've put them to the test skiing as well as some extreme Utah snow shoveling. Definitely warmer than my last pair (can't remember what brand those were), they seem way more durable, and I'm a fan of the big gauntlet and straps.

I've taken this bad boy out in the woods a number of times and am quite pleased. Yes, it looks awesome. Yes, it can probably slay mid-sized rodents. Yes, I've mostly used it to test my axe throwing skills. It's fun. It's also very well made and has stood up to all the abuse I've given it. SOG Battle Axe gets five stars.

This thing is fun! I'm still pretty bad, but that's another story. The classic slackline is simple and easy to set up. My problem was that I only had one sturdy tree to use, but I found some great ideas at the site below on how to set up if you're lacking tree options like me:
