Familiarity: I've used it several times

Only improvement, would be a stowable wool hood, but I'm sure there's a model that has that.

Use it hiking, walking, biking, even all day at work over my oxford shirt (new office is too cold). Love, love everything from icebreaker. It was a revelation wearing a thin wool Icebreakers shirt for a week in southern Utah on Coyote Gulch scout hike/camp (during the hottest part of August). Still smelled passable after an entire week. Expect nothing less of this jacket. The large inner chest pockets were a pleasant surprise, on top of the two outer side pockets and left shoulder pocket. A bit odd that it zips up on the left like a lady's shirt though.

Fits well. Don't really need the thumb loops, but they're there if and when I do. Love the little granola pouch. The reflective accents and reflective honeycomb pattern in the print were a nice surprise. Really like the build quality. Was overheating (even with the breathable fabric) when running up the mountain near my home. Was grateful to have a zipper to vent even more.

I'd read so many good reviews of Icebreaker wool shirts besting synthetics, I was expecting a lot. And it delivered. Wore this for 3 days while re-enacting a Mormon pioneer hand-cart trek in the middle of Wyoming. Kept me warm-ish when the winds and chill crept up, but when it was hot, it kept me just cool enough. Never stank. Did develop some salt stains, which I'm not used to. But that's probably because I've never been able to wear a shirt this long. The synthetics would smell so bad after one day, it was unthinkable to wear more than once. Being able to wear a shirt more than one day will alllow me to cut down on my base backpacking weight. So overall, I'm thrilled.
