Flock14's Bio

I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, climbing 14ers, bouldering, mountain biking, backpacking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and snowboarding. All the equipment I buy are used for a few of these purposes.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This jacket is thin, and thus lightweight; however, rest assured, I have never been as warm in a jacket of this thickness! It is made of a fantastic material. I took it through the rain last night, didn't get wet - you can shake the water droplets right off once you take it off. I bike to my classes in the mornings in Colorado, and it keeps me perfectly warm as I bike in mid 30s to low 40s kinda weather. I am an average sized male (5'11", 145lbs, average slimness) and this jacket in a medium fits ideally.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Last season, I had the Burton Rulers. Although the Ruler is a more expensive boot, it simply wasn't wide enough for my foot (normally a 2E to 4E width). This boot doesn't feel as padded/warm, but it is the widest boot I have ever worn. It has partial heat molding, and it still has the speed lacing system. If you have a wide foot, this IS the boot for you, beyond a doubt!
