When I ski, I ski mostly at Snowbasin. When I waterski you'll find me at Pineview. I travel during the summers so I may be coming to a bar near you.

I bought this for my sister because it was super cheap on SAC. She was wearing it the next day and said loved 1- the color (khaki) 2- the goat (who doesn't???) and 3- the length. She's kinda tall and the XS had plenty of length to keep her modest at all times. I'm pretty sure she'll be wearing the shirt a lot. I gave it 4 stars cause she may have said that to make me feel good about my purchase.

I've had this beacon for a couple of months. All of my searches have been fast, easy, and accurate. I love the display, directional arrow, and green color (cause it's easy to find in my gear bag). It may not be the absolute best, but for the price it can't be beat. I would be pleased if others in my backcountry group were carrying this beacon. I have used a couple of other beacons and I find this one to be the easiest to use with gloves on.

I've had my Variant Brim helmet for 3 or 4 years now (I bought it when the I/O goggle first came out with my I/O goggles). I've skied an average of 30 days a year plus my brother has borrowed it when he skis without me. So it has plenty of use and it's holding up strong. It keeps my head at a comfortable temperature, except for hiking on a spring day. Most of my friends ride with this helmet because it is so versatile and it also comes in a lot of steezy colors. Next year I will be getting a new Variant Brim because the manufacturer's suggestion to rotate it out every few years.

These pants are delicious. Not to the taste, but to the sight. I bought the bonfire color to go with my blue Snowpocalypse jacket and the combo is amazing. The orange color is slightly more vibrant than pictured, but not crazy hunter orange. I almost purchased the Botka pant with the Jovian jacket. The Botka is a great pant and the red looks really good. But this pant is slightly roomier and is more funtional for the resort skier (which is where I ski 90% of the time).
I'm 6'1" 165 lbs and I went with the medium long. The fit is great with enough room for my long underwear and no loss of range of motion. This pant material is slightly thicker than the Botka which I am hoping will handle more crazy crashes or, given the chance, the Snowpocalypse of my wildest dreams. Bring it on mother nature. I'm ready for whatever you can dump.

I really had a hard time deciding between this jacket and the Jovian. I liked that the Jovian was simple and didn't have the dark shoulder patches. Ultimately I decided on the Snowpocalypse and I'm pretty glad I did. This jacket has an extra layer of laminate which will be better for cold days (I think, anyway) and is slightly roomier than the Jovian which will make layering easier on super cold days.
I live in Utah and ski at Snowbasin which has enclosed gondolas for lifts and I sweat more at this resort than any other place so I am really interested in how well the DryQ will keep me cool. So far I'm impressed when I wear it on chilly fall nights.
I'm 6'1" 165 lbs. I went with the medium Blue and the size is pretty standard for a medium. The blue is pretty sick. It's hard to see in the pic but it has some orange stitching highlights that really standout. I also purchased the Snowpocalypse ps pants in orange and the combo is really vibrant. Bring on the snow!

I purchased the Icon 2.0 in 2003 and it has been a great student/travel bag. I've used it nearly every day for my basic school needs and it has survived a lot. I've also traveled to Europe and the Caribbean multiple time with it. Now the bottom is starting to fray and one shoulder strap is starting to separate. The pack can survive a lot but I would never use the Icon to hike, ski, or bike with. The waist strap for me is pretty useless. I'm 6'1" and the uncomfortable waist strap goes around my ribs. For students it's great, but not for anything else.
