Familiarity: I've used it several times
I have the black and pink, which I purchased full price at the North face store in SLC. I love it. It doesn't get colder than 30's during the day here in N. utah, so I struggled with purchasing a parka being that it doesn't get cold enough. My friend had a columbia jacket like this one and I love North face, so I tried it on and it is awesome. We get pretty blizzardy here in Utah at times and wet and rainy and slushy, so it's imparative to be dry here. This jacket keeps me dry, the liner is surprisingly warm. Hand warmer pockets kick ass!! The hood and lining are gorgeous. The wrists can be adjusted to keep you warm, arms are a tad bit too long in a medium. I'm a curvy woman at 5'5' and 150 lbs and I wear a size 11 pants. I fit in a medium very well. The liner is a bit snug, but because I'm short-ish, the medium worked better because the large just seemed to smother me. The lined fleece collar is super soft and keeps your neck warm as well. The colors are divine. The only thing that i don't like is the sound the jacket makes because it's like a ski jacket. It is noisy, but if you can live with that, you're golden. Hoped this helped!
