Awesome Layout in an Efficient Package
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used this pack in a lot of different conditions (touring, resort, side-country, boot-packing) and it absolutely crushes. I prefer a pack that is slightly smaller , so isn't bulky jumping on a chair or while ripping down through bigger terrain. The Freerando is small and really light, but also has the layout that I was looking for.

Avy compartment fits shovel, probe, snow saw, cord and it is very easy to access. Main compartment is good sized and fits everything I need for a day, including skins, water bottle, extra googles and food with enough room to stuff an extra puffy in. Two smaller pockets fit my personal essentials, as well as backup hardware I don't go into the backcountry without.

This is an absolutely banger pack if you are really looking for small and light that can go anywhere.

I actually first looked at purchasing the Powder Hound jacket from Ruffwear for a small dog (~25 lbs). I ended up going with this one, and am not disappointed at all. This jacket has nice insulation across the back and chest to keep your furry friend nice and toasty. This jacket also has nice openings around the front legs for maximum doggy mobility. This one is a winner!

This beanie is super comfortable and is nice and thick, providing tons of warmth when it gets cold out. I agree with all the other comments saying it is not a slouchie. If you're looking for simple, warm and comfy - this beanie is a solid choice.

Nice simple beanie. A little bit on the thinner side. Not as warm as some other Coal beanies, but perfect if you want something lighter or that fits under a helmet.

I have a handful of things from Under Armour and seem to always end up more satisfied than I expected with how their products can hang. The first day I threw this on, everyone else was complaining about soggy and frozen buffs, while this balaclava didn't get soaked through. This one-piece head/neck cover is light and comfortable.

Under Armour continues to slay it in my book....

I knew a couple of people who had this little speaker, and was always impressed with how easy it is to use and how much punishment it can handle. I seen this thing fully submerged in water, sand, sawdust, snow, dropped from 5 feet up and while biking with no lasting effects. For the price, bluetooth compatibility and ability to hang - I give this little speaker a 10.

I bought these wanting over-the-ear wireless headphones. I wasn't looking to spend too much money, so these fit right in the budget. Overall the sound is really good and clear, and they are actually really comfortable. The bluetooth compatibility works well, with a range of ~100ft.

I bought these just to wear at work, and find myself taking them all over the place with me because of how much I like them!

I've know a couple of friends who have these, and I've seen just how much they can handle. Everything from wood shops to sandy beaches to completely submerged in water, this thing stands up. For the price and sound, it easily worth it. Bluetooth compatibility and mounting kit are solid bonuses.

Bought these especially for taking down a multi-day river trip. I just wanted something comfortable, that would dry fast, and had some utility too. Totally love them, and they are going to be used for a lot more than just splashing around in some rapids!

I really like this backpack. It has all the features and design I was looking for in a medium sized backpack. I bought this pack to bike commute to work, which is 35 miles and up two canyons. I can fit my laptop, change of clothes and shoes, lunch, spare bike parts and some random essentials. My only hangups are that I wish the waist-belt was slightly bigger, and that it is not completely waterproof.

Overall it gets the job done and is an awesome pack.

After skinning for years on older Black Diamond nylon skins, I got a pair of these to skin on some pretty wide skis. Overall, I feel like they glide just as well and the weight difference is so small its hard to tell the difference. What makes me love them is how compact they are inside your backpack compared to the nylon skins. I love skiing with a smaller pack, and these let me put more in/cinch down my pack a lot more. Totally comparable everywhere else.

This is not the harness to climb multi-pitch trad routes with, where taking whippers and hanging off the wall for hours is in store. I got this primarily as a winter mountaineering harness. Something small and light that would fit in my BC pack and will be enough to get the job done on short winter rappels.

My hands stay really warm in winter, especially if I'm out touring or hiking around the resort. I always keep a warm pair of mittens/gloves for the coldest days, but I actually ended up wearing these gloves most often. They are very light, breathe relatively well, and constrict and stretch in all the right places.

I skied these bindings really hard this winter. I have two of these bindings mounted, one on 184 Moment Deathwishes (112 under foot) and one on 180 Icelantic Gypseys. I switched from Scarpa T-Races to the Scarpa TX-Comps. I feel like it is a pretty comperable setup in terms of strength and stiffness, but is a full 2 lbs lighter! I toured, booted and skied inbounds a lot with both. The quasi step-in system is nice, but the big points for me are having a brake and the lateral release. Both these features work well, and I've only had a ski come off when I wanted it to. My only gripes are that there is not a full free pivot in the touring mode, and the base plate is plastic and can crack/chip.

Totally sold, not sure I will ever go back to 75mm again. It can be expensive to get into, but worth it for the NTN.

I was stoked as soon as I pulled out this shirt and put it on. It has a killer look to it, and is light and comfortable. Not the warmest flannel for the middle of winter, but well on the nicer side of button downs.

I actually really like these boots a lot. They are pretty different in look and design than most other snow boots. Although they are not as insulated to keep your keep warm when it's really cold out, with warm socks on they have only kept my feet dry and comfertable.

This is a sweet ski if you are looking for something that is pretty light, has a forgiving design and is decently wide under foot. They tour well and are tons of fun in powder. 5'9" 160 lbs and the 186 is definitely the ski for me.
