all of this shirt is awesome except for one: the sleeves are strangely narrow. These sleeves fit so tight around the forearms that they restrict my arm movement(my forearms are quite standard built). Can't even roll the sleeves up they're so narrow. granted, I prefer my shirts on the snug side, so I buy size small; I thought about exchanging for size medium, but then rest of the shirt will be too big. I'm keeping this shirt 'cause I like the color and fabric, and the fit except the forearms; I'll just wear it when I know I won't be moving my upper body much, like at an expensive dinner, not at a bar(think the motion required to do a shot might prove challenging while wearing this shirt).

When choosing a pair of skate shoes, size is very important; it has to fit nearly perfect to your feet, with just a bit of wiggle room. So, the thickness of your socks while wearing your skate shoes also has to be just right; it needs to cushion your feet without the bulkiness that will make your shoes feel too tight. These DC socks are one of em skate brands that do the job--just the right thickness; cotton has give and nylon sturdy; spandex keep em snug. Deep grey color adds richness and class to your ensemble. If this review doesn't sell em, dunno what will.

fit: true to size; for wide feet, up 1/2 a size.
built: tough but light, not bulky, medium traction.
feel: comfortably snug, good ankle support, easy on the heels, stay dry.
look: rather minimal for outdoor gear, which is what I want--shoes that'll get me through city storms and still look like casual sneakers at work.
uses: versatile. all-season outdoor and urban wear.

Fits slightly narrower in the toe area than standard half cabs, but looks sleeker. Excellent insole offers shock absorbency without compromising board-feel. Mesh, medium-padded tongue hugs nicely and not too bulky. All-suede upper gets a little hot, but tough as heck. I would love to see Vans incorporating more mesh/breathable material into their half cabs. Overall a great pair of skate shoes.
