Good Boot for the Price
3 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I got pair of Keen Targhee II for almost half off and I have had them for about a year and a half. I've used them for a daily boot as I worked at an outdoor facility, taken them on several day hikes, and taken them on a 55 mile backpacking trip on and off the trail through the Sawtooth Mountain Range. I've worn them in rain, snow, and hot summer days and I have been relatively comfortable through all of it. They are a good lightweight boot, and I felt that they were very versatile in their function. As many others have said, the soles did begin to show signs of early wear within the first few months of wearing them, but they have held up in this condition for well over 100 miles of hiking and backpacking. I was also disappointed at the waterproofing of these boots. Whenever I was making a creek crossing or even if I was just walking through a wet field of tall grass, I noticed that my feet would begin to get wet at the toes. Despite all of this, I think that they are a durable boot and a decent value for the price.

I bought this pack almost a year ago and have used it for snowshoeing, climbing, hiking, fishing, and had it as my daily pack at an outdoor camp I worked at for several months.

Pros: I've never had any trouble fitting extra layers or other necessities into this pack along with all of my gear for the day. It moves very well with your body even if you're twisting or reaching up and around for something. Its slim profile doesn't inhibit your balance as your hiking, climbing, etc. There are enough pockets to stash your random objects in, but not so many that you forget where you put your stuff.

Cons: You can only access the main compartment from the top. This means that you really have to think about how your packing everything in or just deal with sifting through everything on top to get down to the gear on the bottom.

I got these headphones when my first pair of headphones from Skullcandy broke after several years of use. They fit well in the ear and are great for exercising and other active use. The sound is clean and crisp and has good base for being an ear bud. Another plus is that the Skullcandy warranty will replace your headphones if they ever stop working. With that warranty, these headphones were actually an upgrade from the original ones I purchased.
