I love Dunks but do not love these. First off is how they are made. The LR Dunks have a band of rubber around the sole that starts to peel at the toe very fast. It's because of the design of how the band meets the sole on the bottom of the shoe. The inside soles of the grey LR's are a bright red and after normal wearing they turned my socks pink. Lastly, the LR version are made at least a half size smaller than all other Dunks. Go figure. Not Recommended.

Will this carry my books for school? I have a math book, a big english book, and a chemistry book too. The other books I can keep in my locker at school. Until I have a test, then I will probably bring home more books. Also, food is important. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I pack my lunch. Monday, Wednesday and Friday is pizza day.

I had the Osprey Atmos also but returned it. I tried it on a 9 mile trek and back in the Rockies and the weight was not focused on my hips at all. It made the trek terrible. My friend let me try on his Baltoro and wow, my hips felt fine with it. Now I'm looking at this bc the Baltoro is a little big for my needs.

That was from awhile ago but anyways I got the Fugitives but then sent them back when I got them. The obnoxious red stripe on the back makes them look like some kind of basketball shoe. I would feel bad for my friends in back of me seeing that thing the whole hike. I now have the Flames and love them.

the nf denali is warm but very very bulky, which makes it terrible for layering. and with the denali, you need to layer and have an outer shell because it does not have a windstopper fabric to it such as gore windstopper or polartec wind pro. the mh windstopper tech is a better bet bc it has windstopper pro and is not too bulky. if you are able to spend 30 more dollars than the tech jacet look at the patagonia r4. it is warm and windproof like the mh tech jacket. those two are great. north face also has a winstopper jacket but i havnt tried it yet. just stay away from the denali. if wind can get through, you WILL GET COLD..
UPDATE.....
I have also tried the R4 and it is also very bulky and the elastic on the wrists is not very tight. Also the inside of the jacket is not very soft. For a price of 250 dollars I would not recommend paying for it.
